I think ICANN
Article in The Register is one of those pull-on-a-long-thread-of-spaghetti topics:
“Europe threatens to invade ICANN”
And I pulled on it – follow the links – and it's very smelly. It feels ugly. US trying to take over and dominate the administration of Internet toplevel domains for the entire world.
Know what? This would be an aggressive act even more ominous than attacking Iraq.
I haven't been political. I was never an activist of any sort. But this is just about enough to put me in the streets with a placard. Or at least up here at Salon with a blog.
