ICEBERG - 300,000,000 TONS...?
When I joined Salon a year ago it became apparent to me within days that the sum total of all human knowledge is contained within the brainpans of its bloggers. Now, one should have no shame in declaring one's total ignorance of certain matters, even if it draws derision & contempt. So can someone confirm for me or deny categorically that a.) this may be, in fact, an authentic photograph of an iceberg, & that b.) it could [as is stated in the caption that accompanied it] weigh 300,000,000 tons?
