ROSIE - THE LATEST EDITION

A long day & a two yard visibility fog of tiredness. Can’t even summon up the energy to pour a whisky.  Reuben lies asleep like a crashed cherub, exuding a sort of spurious innocence. The moment I lay me down next to him & pull the duvet across, he will begin his late night zombie performance – sepulchral groans followed by wild thrashings followed by the rising from the tomb routine, which generally culminates in his waking up suddenly, grinning, assuming that it’s time to begin the day.  

 

And so to bed…
