Dick Jones' Patteran Pages
A patteran is a coded configuration of leaves, sticks and stones left at the roadside by Gypsies to communicate with each other. This is my digital version, left for any passers-by...

Controlled explosions following a police evacuation of the centre of Birmingham. In London nearly all the trains are back to a normal state of cut services, staff shortages & long delays.  Familiar chaos whose causes are entirely to do with the parlous state of the British transport system.

On Wednesday Emma takes her Art group down to London & our street theatre group will accompany them.  King’s Cross will be full of armed police. They’ll be carrying not just side arms but Heckler and Koch MP5 carbines. The army may be present too. My group will take a Northern Line London Underground ‘tube’ to Waterloo, but Emma’s Art group will have to walk from King’s Cross to Russell Square because the bombed tube train is still being excavated & bodies are still being freed from the wreckage.

Britain joins the international war zone.
