It's the truth!
When I come home from work about the last thing I want to do is turn on the computer.
And yet lately I do!
I associate and relate my blogs to that of a newspaper. There are many sections in a newspaper as we all know. Some people go first to the news, some to editorial, some to art and leisure, others to the comics.
I blog in all of these categories. Not proud of it; neither am I embarrassed by it.
It's just me, rich pure&simple.
I started out by reading the writings of individuals in many different blogaspheres. My God, I thought, there are a lot of really smart people (smarter than I to be sure), talented writers, philosophers, theologians, and just generally, the "pick o' the litter" out there writing to the wind as it were. I chose Salon. I didn't want to write to a bunch of pimply faced "wow gee I just got a new pair of shoes" types.
I started out thinking, gosh darnit, I haven't written anything since Humanities class at UCI. Can I possibly ameliorate my writing skills here at Salonville? I honestly don't know. But I can try. I can try.
Not all blogs will be front page, but that isn't any reason not to blog.
