CURRENT MOON

Hey I wasn't kidding here:

Will you help me please?

My theory is, born of insecurity and anxiety, humans experience certain dreams universally. Let's test that theory with this little exempli gratia: I arrive at my college class and am surprised to learn it's finals time only I suddenly realize that I had forgotten to attend this particular class for the entire semester.

Please comment if you haven't had this dream or a close permutation (and no, arriving to class without any pants doesn't count).

I feel like I'm the middle of that dream right now and I need some help. I'm almost too embarrassed to ask but I am confident that help potentially lies with many of you. My situation is thus: I have been plodding through Sartre's Being and Nothingness now for about a month. I can only handle small doses of this guy at a time. I think now that I'm nearing completion, I've only retained about a quarter of the class material. I feel like I'm in 104-E when I should have been in 101-A; feel like I've just read The Return of the King without first having read The Hobbit. Any reading suggestions(of the hobbit variety) for this budding existentialist would be greatly appreciated.
