Seeing's how this here is my blog, I, for the bargain basement price of $39.95, have ample opportunity to further establish/defend my assertions. (Scroll down)
rich p&s's general policy is to trumpet the rights of oppressed minorities everywhere.
Would I want to live in an "Aryan" society where everyone looked like me, where everyone had the exact same fundamentalist ideologies, the same upbringing and background, wore the same clothes, even had the same friggin haircut. HELL NO! (despite what my government seems to think.) It's precisely the fact that people are different from one another that makes life interesting! I abhor discrimination and that is why all I'm asking is that one takes a hard look at how that educational segregation thingy worked out for blacks in our culture. Anyone who thinks that it was a good idea to separate whites from blacks educationally (and otherwise) step up! I'll be taking off my gloves for that fight though!
Anti-discrimination itself is an educational process. If one can learn alongside "the enemy" (term used figuratively), can learn to sympathize and even empathize with the "the enemy" then there simply is no more "the enemy". The Israelis and Palestinians might someday a thousand years from now figure that point out too. Now, argue with that!
