| Hydrogen Powered Fuel Cell Automobiles | | Are Ready for Delivery |
| Oil prices surged to record highs Friday as supply and demand concerns heat up again. The near-month futures contract shot up $1.89 to $58.47, blowing past the previous record of $58.28 set on April 4. Oil
producers are pumping at or near full capacity. A chronic refinery
shortage is boosting gasoline and heating fuel prices. And analysts are
already debating whether we can "get through" this coming winter's
heating season. Everyone is pretty much aware of where I live. I'm
not even sure if I ever close my windows. The spookiest thing that I
have to be concerned about is in that picture on the right. My
continuing blog writings are my respectable hopes for a hydrogen
powered future. At this present time, I think I'll soon be getting used
to paying 5 or 10 dollars for each and every gallon of gasoline. That's
pretty awful news but please don't miss the next paragraph either. | At Today's Date |
 | Toyota
and Honda from Japan have produced a similar car compared to this
little pup. This one is battery powered but continuously charged by
fuel cell components that you might have also found historically in the
spacecrafts that we've already sent to the moon. Considering the
relatively diminutive size of this car I find truly amazing. I'm still
wondering how it can hold enough hydrogen to get farther than ten or
twenty miles. But wait, the truly amazing thing is next. This
environmentally emission free automobile will cost me $920,000. Don't
worry yet. It can also be leased for a mere $9600 per month. Ahm, I
think that's a little more than I spend on my house's mortgage. I'm not
sure that I am able to afford this one yet. Toyota
said that its FCHV cars (pictured), may be able to run 330 kilometers
without refueling, and would be leased to public offices as well as
energy-related companies starting in July. Can I wait? Releasing these
things to energy related companies just might have something to do with
the U.S's personal production of travel related hydrogen. |
