Foul Fries
Rather than ban French (Freedom) fries the do-gooders should mandate that fries be fried in oil entirely separate than other fried goods.
What am I talking about? I just stopped at Jack In The Box to get some fries as I was on my way home from Trader Joes. Fast food isn't a normal thing for me but I was feeling a bit adventurous. As I sat in the drive-through behind an exhaust-belching 1970's-era Nova I began to regret my choice. I rolled up to the window where a large hispanic women sat rolling her eyes at me while her equally rotund supervisor jabbered away in rapid-fire Spanish. Five minutes later I was finally delivered my elusive fries!
Unfortunately upon the first bite I realized I was tasting a melange of chili poppers and tacquitos and every other thing Good ol' Jack had fried up before my fries. Unlike Europe the US has no laws mandating how many times deep-fat frier oil must be changed and I was a victim of the results. Maybe I can sue Jack? Anyone have any ideas?
