I Feel This Pain Like It Is My Own

I have lived in Morocco three times in my young life. I speak Moroccan Arabic and have people in Morocco who are like my own family (despite the fact that I'm a white American boy). Which is why I am so enraged at the bombings in Casablanca. My roommate, who is Moroccan, has suffered terribly because of these, with one of her uncles injured and the other dead.
Morocco is the most open and tolerant Arab country, with a large community of Jews and a wonderful, vibrant and open life. For this it has been targeted by Al-Queda, which proves my point that these Islamists are enemies of us all, everywhere, in Morocco, in Saudi Arabia and in the US. For it's tolerance Morocco has received murder and violence in return. The apostates who espouse murder and mayhem towards their fellow Muslims are worse than dogs and deserve to be treated as such. I personally would like to strangle each and everyone of these fundamentalists with my bare hands. If only God would grant me the chance.

Here I Come!!
I applied for my visa to visit the Syrian Arab Republic in September. I'm hoping to make it from Greece where I start, through Albania, Kosova, Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria and Iraq in three weeks. I've been to all but Syria and Iraq before but this is really more of a research mission to flesh out my book, which is roughly going to examine the Arch of American Triumph. Figure it out 'cause I'm not telling any details but it's going to be revolutionary, a true forefront of a movement (and if you think I'm syrious you don't know me at all).

Grrrrr...
I hate cloudy days that are warm, these bruised-looking skies with muggy weather suck. Even the trees are drooping!
