Latenight Calls
I awoke this morning, or, errr, almost this afternoon to a drunken message left at 3:00 AM on my cellphone by my friend Alvin. He had apparently gone out last night and ran into a friend of his ex who told him his ex was in a relationship with someone else. This wouldn't be all bad except the guy broke up with Alvin telling him he "wasn't ready for a relationship." Maybe what he should have said is that he wasn't ready for a relationship with Alvin.
So I called him and talked to him this morning and we commiserated over men and what pains-in-the-ass they are. I'm glad I'm in school and not in a relationship nor looking to be in one (one-night stands aside). So now I am off to the gym, enjoying another windy fall Seattle day.
