Cracking the Top 100

                                                                            We Love Fear This Factor!

I started this blog back at the end of March, and since then have been scampering up the Salon.com daily rankings, usually achieving around 70-80 hits a day. However, today is a day of celebration because I have cracked the list of Salon.com's rankings by page read since 7/11/02, with a cumulative of over 7,000 so far, which places me at a humbling 99. Still, it's good to be in the top 100 of that category for the first time.

Voters Describe Their Ideal Candidate

                                                                               Following the Road to Oblivion

In an interesting article in today's Washington Post, Democratic voters in three early primary states said "they prefer a presidential nominee who supported military action against Iraq but criticized President Bush for failing to assemble international support over a candidate who opposed military action from the beginning..."

Interesting because so far the Democratic debates have consisted of Howard "The King" Dean relentlessly attacking every other candidate who didn't criticize and oppose the war with the same misguided ferocity that he did. And sadly the other candidates, with the exception of Lieberman, have fallen right into that trap, with each of them refusing to defend the decision to go to war in Iraq, and this includes my favorite, Wesley Clark.

This poll shows that the anti-war left that is driving the Dean candidacy is also going to drive the Democratic party right over a cliff. This so-called "phenomenon" is nothing more than the minority driving the party towards electoral disaster and its standard bearer is Dean. Remember this when voting time comes.

Dirty Slut!!!

I arrived back home this rainy, windy Seattle morning wearing only a Helly Hansen jacket, shoes and pants after leaving the guy's house that I went on a date with last night. It's not like I snuck out or anything. He was dead to the world and after our, uhhhh... "discussion" was through I was ready to go. Still, I hope I manage to get my shirt back one day.

Note to self: When sleeping with guys at their apartment make sure to pile ALL of your clothes in ONE pile. Makes leaving in the middle of the night that much easier.
