Conveyer-belt Sushi

Tonight I went to this place for dinner with my friend John, who is a cool Greek guy who used to live here and work for Microsoft until he broke up with his boyfriend and moved to LA.

Blue C Sushi had sushi rolling around a U-shaped conveyer belt on different-colored plates which signified price. Dark blue was $5, Orange $2 and so on... The quality was good, but not excellent and I'm a little uncomfortable having sushi prepared by non-Japanese chefs, call me racist but it's tradition. It was good to see John again and to enjoy a crisp, cool fall Seattle night in Fremont.

Prep Work

Prep school, preparing one's body etc...

It's all the same, so today I have to prep for a dinner tonight with a friend from LA and my ex-boyfriend (one of them anyway), and before I'll go to the gym and take another look at that presentation I have to give Thursday down in Texas.

A low-key weekend so far, I went Irish dancing Friday night, which is always great fun, and then met up with the Monkey for more crazy times on Capitol Hill. What a contrast, from the cheery, bleery booziness of an Irish ceilidh to the glittering, twittering confines of a Capitol Hill gay bar. I'm a man of contrasts for sure.
