Keeping A Viper As A Pet Isn't A Smart Idea

The underlying tone of many of the articles describing the Al Qaeda bombing in Saudi Arabia is one of shock, SHOCK that Al Qaeda decided to take a break from killing Christian Westerners and start killing fellow Arab Muslims instead.
"They lost their support on the street," said Ehab al-Khiary, 27, a computer security specialist, standing on a broad avenue packed with cars during the typical 10 P.M. to midnight rush hour of Ramadan. "They are killing people with no cause."
The statement above highlights everything that is wrong with the so-called Arab "street." It's OK when they're killing Christians but once we get bit by our former favorite pet then we don't want to play anymore. What did these idiots think? That a totalitarian Islamo-fascist terrorist organization was going to draw the line when it came to killing those of the same faith? It hadn't done so in Afghanistan or in Kenya and Tanzania or especially in NYC.

And what exactly was the "cause" that made it OK for Al Qaeda to kill over 3,000 people in New York City on September 11, 2001?
When you keep a viper as a pet it's always a viper, no matter how much you feed it and shower it with attention. Don't be surprised when it turns on you someday, after all, that's a viper's nature.
