South Beach Diet Day I
Well, it's been alright so far.
For breakfast I had two scrambled eggs with avocado and tomato and two pieces of turkey bacon. For lunch I had a salad with broiled chicken, cherry tomatoes and mixed greens with feta dressing. Dinner consisted of another mixed-green salad with broiled steak, cauliflower and cesear dressing. For a snack I had a piece of celery with low-fat Laughing Cow cheese and for a dessert I am planning on having some almond ricotta cream, which is a dessert introduced in the South Beach Diet book.
I was hella hungry after I got back from yoga, crazily so, but that eased after I had dinner. It's only going to get worse once I start lifting again but the hunger is an inspiration. I think of all those little calories and fat grams being burned and it drives me forward.
