Hawk Siting... and more

I've seen a huge, grey and brown hawk soaring around in the sky by my new house the past two days. This is fortituous and a sign of great things to come.
We're moved in but not really moved in if you know what I mean. The movers came and deposited everything yesterday, and Glenn took the day off and we unpacked. By 6:00 we were both so exhausted it wasn't funny, I mean bone-tired, red-eyed exhausted.
Today I'm here alone, sorting things out. The contractor came by and I went with him to the lighting store to pick out the lights we're having installed over our new closet. The Comcast people showed up, we now have cable Internet and TV and in a couple of hours the window treatment person shows up to take care of that issue.
I went and bought cat doors for the cats, who aren't allowed outside but need to be able to navigate through closed doors to the garage, where their food and litter are kept. Except I actually had to buy a small dog door because one of Glenn's cats is such a fat-ass (22 pounds) that he wouldn't be able to fit through a regular sized cat door. Hmmmm... maybe there's something to this obesity epidemic afterall.
