Where has Shane Been?
I'm right here.
Chamonix and I worked our asses off the last two days and everything in the house in now unpacked. The Good Doc and I are still sorta living in chaos because the contractor is here tearing out walls and putting in closets, but it's cool. It was so good to see Chamonix while she was here, I have great friends, absolutely wonderful people who have always been there for me through thick and thin. 10 years on from undergraduate and we look back on our lives, the dorm room fucks, the drinking and smoking, skiing in Santa Fe and Spring Breaks. I treasure these memories and my friends who lived them with me and I look to the future filled with love and confidence.
So now we wait for our new furniture to be delivered, the Bose install guy to come and install our stereo system, I've got landscaping to do, we need patio furniture and then, last but most definitely not least, we're going to put in a hot tub.
Oh, did I tell you three companies have contacted me in the Bay Area for work? It's tough being in demand :-)
