My DJ
Luke is a friend of mine from the UK who I've known since 1999. He introduced me to trance and late, LATE night dancing fests in UK clubs like Slinky and the Gallery at Turnmills. Luke's career has been taking off lately, with gigs all over the UK and I'm pleased to announce that he will be flying in from London to DJ at our party, here in San Francisco, on May 29.

Party Planning...
It's a lot of work.
My boyfriend's b-day is the end of this month and we're having a combo housewarming and 40th birthday party for him on May 29th. This is proving to be a lot of work to plan. With the caterer, the DJ and all the rest I'm exhausted. Today I addressed invitations, met with the planner and tried to round up very specific DJ equipment. Tomorrow I have to go down to the SFPD and ask for a permit for loud music because we're having the DJ spin outside in the back patio. In between I am calling his friends, trying to arrange hotels/sleeping quarters and all the other shizzle that comes with this sort of thing. I haven't even begun to buy the booze yet (the caterer provides the staff but not the booze) or the wine.
After this I am going to need a week at Canyon Ranch to recover. If you're in the San Francisco Bay area and would like to come to the party please e-mail me your address and I'll pop an invite in the mail to you.
