It was a nice weekend. My sister's family arrived right on time Saturday at suppertime. After a quick snack, we adjourned to the pool for the last hour of "everyone swim" time. They have adult swim from 8-10pm on Saturdays.
Then back to the house for a late supper.
Sunday we had confirmation and Nate was officially made a member of the United Methodist Church. Our Praise Team sang and did a very poor job of "Any Road, Any Cost". We missed the first entrance and never really came together after that. I was sad that it happened while Julia and Jeff were there, but...what can you do?
We all had dinner, and then played some scrabble and just hung around the rest of the day. It was cooler and cloudy, so no one suggested the pool again.
Today we will go to King's Mountain National Military Park and have a look around. We'll pack a picnic lunch. Then tonight Julia will go to aerobics with me and we'll set up the voting machines after that.
It should be a very interesting primary tomorrow. A lot of people will be mad that they can't vote in both party primaries. And we have two hotly contested primaries in our precinct...one on the Republicn side for County Council and one on the Democratic side for Sheriff.
