Swampy. That's really the best way to describe today's weather. The windows upstairs are steamed up. The downstairs ones are not. This is the first time they've been that way. I imagine it's because the downstairs thermostat is set at 80, but the upstairs one is 77. We are up to just about 4 inches in the rain gauge since Sunday morning.
I've given up on The Hornet's Nest by Jimmy Carter. It's just way too didactic. There are characters, and story, but the characters are very preachy as they try to teach the reader about the Revolutionary War. And they are dry teachers. So I've moved to Emma's Secret by Barbara Taylor Bradford.
Mensa Boy did not want to get up this morning. It looks like he will be about half an hour late this morning. He and Taylor played with the video camera for hours last night. Then after Taylor gave out, MB played for a few more hours with the video capture software. His Vacation Bible School class is going to make some videos.
