Here's a bus story for you...

Yesterday they took some stops off a very crowded bus and gave them to me. I had been running only the elementary kids in my neighborhood in the morning and afternoon. But I told them if they wanted help with the overcrowding, I'd be happy to do a Middle/High school route too.

So they give me this really short route. But it involves 4 neighborhoods of about 30 kids. And it's on a very large, busy, divided highway.  No problem.  I'll just take my time.

Then they tell me about this family that has moved into one of the subdivisions. They tell me where the stop is. The buses keep going to that stop, for elementary and middle/high, every day... morning and afternoon but there are never any kids there.  The Mom keeps calling the school and leaving messages and complaining. She even calls the school district transportation office to complain. But still no kids. The bus office keeps trying to call the Mom, even over the weekend, but the phone keeps up with a busy signal.

This morning I pulled in there, no kids. I note the time and location of the stop and the date. I've decided I'll do that every day. Then I went in to the bus office and told them if they have an address I'll even drive to home and put a note on the door.  The name????? What kind of people would be giving us so much grief??????

THE SAME NAME AS A SERIAL KILLER! AAAHHH!!!
