Okay. Just got back from Target. I took a cruise through the Christmas decs section, looking for cards. I have not done any cards, by the way. But they are starting to come in, so now the guilt is rising. I think I skipped it last year. Finally this morning I decided that I will send out cards as I receive cards. That way I don't have to sit and address and write in 65 cards. I'll do a few each day.
We'll see how that goes. So far I've been saying I'm going to bake a batch of cookies each day and that hasn't panned out, either. Although I may actually get to some this afternoon.
Anyway. Target. Christmas decorations.
Would someone tell me what a lighted baby seal has to do with Christmas? Seriously. I don't know. I wheeled around the corner and there on the shelf, alongside the lighted deer (I don't get those, either...and whenever I see them I remember the time someone on Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis played a prank on their neighbor by repositioning their two lighted deer into a morally compromising position...that is, if deer have morals. But then they could have been married deer, I don't know. Do deer marry? But I digress...), were lighted baby seals.
