Well, I've written out a few more Christmas cards this morning. This is much easier this way. I've been writing cards to people as I receive theirs. Yes, that does put the onus on them to mail to me first, but it's better than not doing it all.
We've done the Christmas letter thing the past couple of years, but this year it just didn't materialize. How a family of writers can manage to not sit down a do a lettter is beyond me. Except that we have both been quite busy with our respective works. Mensa Boy has been on deadline this week and I've been cranking out photos and some stories lately, too. And then there's the Christmas shopping.
I've come to the conclusion more and more that Amazon is really the way to go. At least, it is for stuff you'd normally want to get at the mall. There are no parking spots at our mall. At all. I popped up there to run into our new, 2-story Barnes & Noble and couldn't park anywhere. I finally had to come back down to South Charlotte to our Borders.
And. Still no sign of the Wii. The guys have opted to wait until it's available. There will be stuff for them to open, though. We've got stuff for them from the grandmas and grandpa and aunts and uncles.
