Microsoft Is Moving Tech Support Offshore
My earlier speculation has proven to be true. Several mainstream news sources have picked up the story that Microsoft has moved Office Product development and tech support to India in the past few days. No one else spells it out quite as directly as Microsoft Watch. The fact that programmers and tech support people work for 1/3 of what is ordinarily paid to US workers just maybe might have had some teeny tiny influence over that decision no?
While I am not going to trash my investment in Microsoft products over this decision, I know that I will buy no more new Microsoft products.
