Remembering the Children          There were lots of news images from the Vietnam War.  There were so many that affected us.  One of the most poignant was of a small girl running naked down the road due to her village having been hit with napalm.  I link you to the page where a soldier has spoken of this event and has given his interpretation of it.  -War is war he says, and innocents get hurt.  Shrug.-  I guess it is that attitude that has kept me on the side of peace.  Yes, brutal dictators do some terrible things to their people.  There is no question that we need to figure out how to correct that.  But the cost of a war of liberation is to condemn so many to death and to condemn the soldiers who kill the children to the soul destroying effects of their actions.   12:15:17 PM    Talk back! []
