Clinton had Republicans in his administration. It was part of his game er his bipartisnism. He was not exactly a fan of Saddam either (Clinton that is). I don't think that changing your political party was a condition of taking a job with him. (I do have some vague recollection of there being some sort of thing like that when Reagan took office... but the specifics elude me at the moment. They do warrant looking up however.)
I knew Republicans here in Spokane at the time who felt that people who did decide to work for him were 'traitors'. Clinton did not earn the title 'Slick Willy' for his daliance with Monica.
I count at least 4 double meanings of words in those two paragraphs. I hope they are not too confusing.
