Allen L Roland's Radio Weblog My ongoing theme is always the truth , as I see it , and the
exposure of lies, deception and manipulation wherever they exist.
I remain firmly convinced that the world can no longer resist
its innate urge to unite and co-operate with one another and
we are very close to the point where war can no longer be an option
if this transformation is to occur.

It's obviously silly season for wife cheating politicians and South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford heads the distinguished list which includes both Democrats and Republicans but it's really all about power ~ the absolute aphrodisiac: Allen L Roland
After days of public soul-baring, odd confessions about other dalliances and apologies about an adulterous affair, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford said he won't resign, made no public appearances Wednesday, as he seemingly tried to figure out how to salvage the last 18 months of his second term and his 20-year marriage.
Sanford claimed he hadn't used public money to fund trips to see his mistress, Maria Belen Chapur, whom he calls his "soul mate."
Sanford has obviously fallen in love (or perhaps lust) and has externalized long buried childlike feelings of innocence, joy and euphoria onto his Argentina soul mate ~ Maria. A common story in the real world but much more noteworthy when it involves high profile politicians ~ such as Sanford, Bill Clinton, John Ensign, Newt Gingrich, John Edwards, Eliot Spitzer, Rudy Giuliani and many others.
It's silly season in Washington and it doesn't matter if your a Democrat or Republican because it's really all about power ~ the absolute aphrodisiac.
Liz Sidoti, Associated Press, confirms my analysis in her excellent article Why Do Politicians Cheat ?
Sidoti knowingly writes ~ " There's also a clue in the kind of people drawn to politics. These are men who love themselves deeply, need to be recognized and relish approval. These are men who adore getting praise and who often are surrounded by swarms of sycophants. These are men who, in some cases, need to exercise power and sometimes can become drunk from it. These are men who think the rules don't apply to them and who think they're untouchable. As leaders, these are also the type of men who are likely to break promises, manipulate and cut corners. They probably are big risk-takers. And they're prone to thinking of themselves first. Just ask their wives, their mistresses ~ or the security details that often are privy to indiscretions."
Which leads me to another truism ~ the true test of a man's character is not how they handle adversity but how do they handle power.
Many high profile politicians fail this test and learn their lesson the hard way, as Gov. Sanford most assuredly is, but what about the injured wives ~ the most prominent high profile example being the former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. For them I have a special gift.

The history of the Federal Reserveis an ongoing battle between the Banking elite and the people and anyone who gets in the way is usually crushed. Bush and Obama's top down Wall Street bank bailout, at the expense of Main Street, is a good example of why Rothschild's Federal Reserve must be audited and eventually abolished: Allen L Roland
The Fed (which is not even a government agency, but rather a private corporation consisting of mostly foreign bankersand answers to no one) dictates America's financial policies and is the obvious conduit for the banking elite to control the financial world and, in particular, the New World Order.
And now Obama wants to give even more power to the Fed as Eliot Spitzer writes today in Slate ~ " The Fed botched banking regulation once already. So why does Obama want to give it more power?" Spitzer goes on to elaborate on the main problem with the Fed ~ " The United States should not lightly put our fate back in the hands of the very entity whose oversight of the economy and financial sector brought us into the abyss. The Fed's lack of accountability and transparency is no longer justified by its record or sound principles or public policy. Granting the power without asking the tough questions would be following the path of least resistance ~ Has any thought been given to refocusing on a financial services model that has more smaller institutions and fewer mega banks, thus diversifying risk? Others, no doubt, will have more probing questions for the Fed; and President Obama, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, and Congress should listen to them before they grant the Fed vast new powers." http://www.slate.com/id/2221898/
To fully understand the Fed ~ you must review its dark history of greed and manipulation which begins with the Rothschild's.
TIME LINE OF THE ROTHSCHILD OWNED FEDERAL RESERVE BANK
1791-1811: Rothschild's First Bank of the United States.
1816-1836: Rothschild's Second Bank of the United States.
1837-1862: Free Banking Era - no formal Central Bank through the efforts of President Andrew Jackson, who, according to Jackson, the Rothschild's later tried to assassinate.
1862-1913: System of National Banks through the efforts of President Andrew Jackson.
In 1862 Abraham Lincoln issued his own fiat money to finance the Civil War and bucked the New York Banks who wanted to charge the government 24- 30% interest on any loans. Lincoln was assassinated on April 14, 1865.
President James Garfield tried to buck the banks and was assassinated on July 2, 1881.
1913-Current: President Wilson Federal Reserve Act creates a consortium of privately held Jewish & associated banks called the Federal Reserve Bank. The largest shareholders of the Federal Reserve Bank are the Rothschild's of London holding 57% of the stock which is not available for public trading.
On May 23 1933, Congressman Louis T. McFadden brought impeachment charges against the members of the Federal Reserve Bank. A smear campaign against McFadden ensued and he was poisoned 3 years later.
On June 4th 1963, John F Kennedy signed Executive Order 1110 which returned to the U.S. Government the power to issue currency without going through the Federal reserve. With the stroke of his pen, President Kennedy was on his way to putting the Federal Reserve Bank of New York out of business ~ for that order gave the U.S. the ability to create its own money backed by silver.Five months later on November 22, 1963 Kennedy was assassinated.
Watch this outstanding ten minute video on the ominous and treacherous path of the Rothschild's ~ a path of greed, manipulation and corruption which continues to this day under the unaudited and secretive rule of the Federal Reserve Bank. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USGSOViaulc
Congressman Ron Paul wants to audit the Federal Reserve. His bill to do this (HR 1207) already has 55 listed co-sponsors, and Congressman Paul's website says the list will soon be up to 90. Bernie Sanders has introduced a similar bill in the Senate (S. 604).

Let's make it simple, America ~ Medicare for everyone and studies have estimated that Medicare~ which has a fairly simple system of payment and claim filing ~ would save up to 33% of healthcare costs over private insurance! Let's take the dollars out of Lobbyists pockets and put them in our pockets: Allen L Roland
Greed is killing our heath care system and the American public must demand a cost effective public healthcare system such as Medicare, that is already working for seniors, and could well do the same for all Americans.
As Mark Karlin writes in Buzzflash ~ "The goal and slogan of "healthcare reform" should be quite simple: "Medicare for Everyone...Why do we have to wait until we are 65 to be guaranteed the right of health coverage?" http://blog.buzzflash.com/node/8801
Or as Joshua Holland writes in Truthout ~ " If there's enough pressure on Congress, we'll add a well-designed public insurance option to the current mix of private insurance and government health care programs. It would be like (the highly popular) Medicare program, but open to all comers. We'd end up with a very large insurance pool that would lower costs through efficiencies of scale. The plan would be able to drive a hard bargain with providers and cut down on overhead costs, which amount to about 30 percent of spending in the U.S. right now." http://www.truthout.org/062909G?n
It's time to put the pressure on Obama and force him to stop straddling the line and insist on a public option. As Robert Reich has written ~ Without the government as competition, the private sector has little incentive to improve ~ and once again our health care system will continue to be gamed by greed and special interest groups.
As Robert Parry wrote in Consortium News on June 5th ~ "As the health insurance industry and its defenders in Congress lay out their case against permitting a public option in a reform bill, perhaps their most curious argument is that some 119 million Americans are ready to dump their private plans and jump to something more like Medicare - and that's why that choice can't be permitted... In other words, the Health Insuranceindustry and its backers are acknowledging that more than one-third of the American people are so dissatisfied with their private health insurance that they trust the U.S. government to give them a fairer shake on health care. The industry says its allies in Congress must prevent that. " http://consortiumnews.com/2009/060509.html
And I'm saying we must all demand a public option and that we already have that workable option with Medicare ~ which, quite simply, should now be available to everyone !

THE SUN, MILKY WAYAND UNIVERSE ARE ALL UNITED BY URGE TO UNITE
Rendering of the Milky Way and its central bar as it might appear from above. Arrow shows location of our Sun.
There are over200 billion stars in our galaxy, the Milky Way, but Hubble has estimated that there are over a billion galaxies in the universe which makes one point increasingly clear ~ WE are not only notalonebut are all united through a common innate urge to unite: Allen L Roland
Astronomers estimate that the Milky Way contains about 100 billion stars. Recently, however, this number was upped by about a billion after the discovery that very old, nearly invisible stars had escaped earlier detections.
Our Sun, which is 4.6 billion years old, is located 26,000 light-years away from the galactic center on one of the spiral arms. It is a location considered more suitable than others for harboring life, in part because the central region is too chaotic, and in part because the concentration of metals there is too heavy, and it’s too light in the galaxy’s outer fringes.
The Sun makes one complete orbit around the galaxy about once every 225 million years. In contrast, stars near the galactic center complete a lap in a few million years or less. These stars as a group tend to be younger than the galactic average, most ranging in age from 1 billion to 10 billion years old
Most of our galaxy is relatively uncrowded ~ the nearest star to our Sun, for example, is 4.2 light-years away. But roughly 10 million stars are known to orbit within a light-year of the galaxy's center.
But what if all of these stars, as I maintain, are connected by a Unified Field of love and soul consciousness ~ that resides deepest within each one of us, transcends boundaries of time and space and whose principle property is the universal urge to unite.
Love leads us to another dimension of consciousness within which this universal truth is readily apparent.
How can you not look at this rendering of the Milky Way and not feel like you are part of something far greater than yourself ~ but at the same time innatelyconnected to it.
There must be be something very special and profound that connects us, not only to each other, but to all the other stars in our own Milky Way, as well as a universe of galaxies ~and what could be more special or profound than love.

" My aim in my life is to make pictures and drawings, as many and as well as I can; then at the end of my life, I hope to pass away, looking back with love and tender regret, and thinking, "Oh, the pictures I might have made!" ~ Letter to Theo van Gogh (Vincent's brother), November 19, 1883
I've always been crazy enough to live my dreams and I'm still doing it. I've always said YES to myself and not allowed myself to be controlled by fear. Now I'm living my ultimate dream of sharing and celebrating mythoughts and feelings as a writer and therapist ~ and making a difference in the process: Allen L Roland
I've always wanted to make a difference, to share my truth and have it hit a chord that resonates withothers .
I've always wanted to just be myself, as outrageous as that
might be, and know that it was enough !
I've always wanted to fly and I became a Navy fighter pilot and lived that dream.
I've always wanted to write from my heart, whether poetry
or prose, and have it resonate with other hearts.
I've always lived on the edge and been a little crazy in living
my dreams ~ completely trusting myself ~ and now I am so
happy I found the courage to do that and to continue to sing
my song.
The robin doesn't sing because its happy ~
It's happy because it sings !
I borrowed the following words from Apple Computer's website years ago and decided to share it along with some of my own thoughts. Ithink it is absolutely appropriate for this moment when so many external things have been taken away from us and we being forced to go inside ourselves.
The title is "Here's to the Crazy Ones"
Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelievethem, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
Or, in my case, see a touching photo and make a story out of it that will touch millions.
While some see them as the crazy ones, others see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world ~ are quite oftenthe ones who do.
And all they really did was say YES to themselves and not be controlled by fear.

Photo shows Neda Agha-Soltan moments before bleeding to death from a gunshot sniper wound on June 20, 2009, as her music teacher and others try to resuscitate her.
The bloody video of Neda's violent death on Saturday has circulated in Iran and around the world on the World Wide Web. It has made Ms.Neda Agha-Soltan, a 26-year-old musician, who relatives said was not political, an instant symbol of the Iranian anti-government movement: Allen L Roland
One short seven line poem circulating on the Internet explicitly linked Neda's death to other symbols of the Iranian protest movement ~ and I've taken the liberty to complete the poem :

THENINESTAGES OF CIVILIZATIONS / WE'RE IN THE SEVENTH~APATHY
The United States is just over 230 years oldand is now firmly entrenchedin the seventh stage of all civilizations ( Apathy ) with only Dependence and eventually Bondage ahead of it : Allen L Roland
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through anine stagesequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to complacency; from complacence to apathy; from apathy to dependence; from dependency back again into bondage. ( Attributed to Alexander Tytler)
In our present Plutocracy we have just made the transition from complacency to national apathy ~ which will surely be followed by dependence on the state and eventually bondage by the state. As Ramsey Clark, former U.S. Attorney General, has said ~ " We're not a democracy. It's a terrible misunderstanding and a slander to the idea of democracy to call us that. In reality, we're a plutocracy: a government by the wealthy."
The obvious vehicle for this shift in consciousness isFEARand APATHY. FEAR,in actuality, is False Exaggerations Appearing Real but APATHY is a lack of interest and indifference and it has always been the Great American Sin. See my column of August 27, 2007.http://blogs.salon.com/0002255/2007/08/27.html
Joseph Fort Newman, Atlantic Monthly, wrote about the Great American Sin of Apathy in October, 1922 ~ and its worth repeating now in June,2009.
"What is the great American sin? Extravagance? Vice? Graft? No; it is a kind of half-humorous, good-natured indifference, a lack of"concentrated indignation" as my English friend calls it, which allows extravagance and vice to flourish. Trace most of our ills to their source, and it is found that they exist by virtue of an easy-going, fatalistic indifference which dislikes to have its comfort disturbed....The most shameless greed, the most sickening industrial atrocities, the most appalling public scandals are exposed, but a half-cynical and wholly indifferent public passes them by with hardly a shrug of the shoulders; and they are lost in the medley of events. This is the great American sin."
Unless we as individuals, and then as a nation, conquer fear and apathy we are doomed to dependence and then bondage by a state ruled by the wealthy. That state of dependence is drawing near and only faith and the great courage of civil revolt and even civil disobedience can revitalize this nation ~ particularly with a major economic Depression increasingly making its presence felt.
