My ongoing theme is always the truth , as I see it , and the exposure of lies, deception and manipulation wherever they exist. I remain firmly convinced that the world can no longer resist its innate urge to unite and co-operate with one another and we are very close to the point where war can no longer be an option if this transformation is to occur. THE GREATEST CON OF ALL / AL-QAEDA AND THE WAR ON TERROR

Comical Warfare

As U.S. Intelligence officials claim that Al-Qaeda will attack the U.S. within the next few months ~ please review BBC's 2004 video The Power Of Nightmares which reveals how the Al-Qaeda illusion was originally created by the Neo Cons and how the War on Terror is an ongoing campaign of fear mongering to politically justify the gargantuan Military-Industrial complex : Allen L Roland

I chuckled and smiled knowingly when I heard that top U.S. Intelligence officials recently predicted that an attempted Al Qaeda attack in the United States in the next three to six months was all but "certain".   http://snipurl.com/u9kgl

Of course, it should be obvious. The Patriot Act is now up for renewal in Congress as certain provisions are set to expire this February. And as is typical, Congress is once again being fear-mongered into voting for it, along with what the ACLU says is even more freedom-curtailing provisions than before.

I immediately thought of BBC's incredible documentary The Power Of Nightmares which was broadcast on November 3, 2004 and is still more than relevant today.

Mike Conley's transcript says it all ~ " Increasingly, politicians are seen simply as managers of public life. But now, they have discovered a new role that restores their power and authority. Instead of delivering dreams, politicians now promise to protect us from nightmares. They say that they will rescue us from dreadful dangers that we cannot see and do not understand. And the greatest danger of all is international terrorism. A powerful and sinister network, with sleeper cells in countries across the world. A threat that needs to be fought by a war on terror. But much of this threat is a fantasy, which has been exaggerated and distorted by politicians. It's a dark illusion that has spread unquestioned through governments around the world, the security services, and the international media."

Watch part three ~ it's about 59 minutes but well worth the time as you again watch the Neo-cons hard at work. That includes the Prince of darkness Richard Pearle, the sleazy Paul Wolfowitz, the arrogant Donald Rumsfeld, Darth Vader Cheney and their deceitful mouthpiece George W Bush ~ as they spin Al-Qaeda and the War on Terror into a world wide threat while the main stream media, politicians and America willingly swallow this illusion

And believe me, it's still going on !  John Mueller of Ohio State demonstrated years ago in a book entitled Overblown: How Politicians and the Terrorism Industry Inflate National Security Threats and Why We Believe Them  ~ The extent to which "our reaction against terrorism has caused more harm than the threat warrants ~ not just to civil liberties, not just to the economy, but even to human lives." http://www.scribd.com/doc/15892315/Mueller-Overblown-2006-Synopsis

The Power of Nightmares definitively explains how the illusion was created and who really benefits from it.  ( Part Three)http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/video1040.htm

HOWARD ZINN'S LEGACY / CHANGE IS  INEVITABLE

Howard Zinn's legacy is that he clearly defined the power that Governments cannot suppress as the people ~ that they are already on the march and that change is inevitable : Allen L Roland

The late Howard Zinn asks and answers the question, in his recent book A POWER GOVERNMENTS CANNOT SUPPRESS , that many progressives and Independents are asking today. The question is " In this world of war and injustice, how does a person manage to stay socially engaged, committed to the struggle, and remain healthy without burning out or becoming resigned or cynical? "

Here are excerpts of Zinn's answer which should give hope to all of us who are impatient for true change ~ courtesy of  Zcommunications.org.

A POWER GOVERNMENTS CANNOT SUPPRESS

Howard Zinn

" I am totally confident not that the world will get better, but that we should not give up the game before all the cards have been played. The metaphor is deliberate; life is a gamble. Not to play is to foreclose any chance of winning. To play, to act, is to create at least a possibility of changing the world."

" There is a tendency to think that what we see in the present moment will continue. We forget how often we have been astonished by the sudden crumbling of institutions, by extraordinary changes in people's thoughts, by unexpected eruptions of rebellion against tyrannies, by the quick collapse of systems of power that seemed invincible."

" What leaps out from the history of the past hundred years is its utter unpredictability. A revolution to overthrow the czar of Russia in that most sluggish of semi feudal empires not only startled the most advanced imperial powers but took Lenin himself by surprise and sent him rushing by train to Petrograd. Who would have predicted the bizarre shifts of World War II-the Nazi-Soviet pact (those embarrassing photos of von Ribbentrop and Molotov shaking hands), and the German army rolling through Russia, apparently invincible, causing colossal casualties, being turned back at the gates of Leningrad, on the western edge of Moscow, in the streets of Stalingrad, followed by the defeat of the German army, with Hitler huddled in his Berlin bunker, waiting to die? "

" And then the postwar world, taking a shape no one could have drawn in advance: The Chinese Communist revolution, the tumultuous and violent Cultural Revolution, and then another turnabout,
with post-Mao China renouncing its most fervently held ideas and institutions, making overtures to the West, cuddling up to capitalist enterprise, perplexing everyone. "

" No one foresaw the disintegration of the old Western empires happening so quickly after the war, or the odd array of societies that would be created in the newly independent nations, from the benign village socialism of Nyerere's Tanzania to the madness of Idi Amin's adjacent Uganda. Spain became an astonishment. I recall a veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade telling me that he could not imagine Spanish Fascism being overthrown without another bloody war. But after Franco was gone, a parliamentary democracy came into being, open to Socialists, Communists, anarchists, everyone."

" The end of World War II left two superpowers with their respective spheres of influence and control, vying for military and political power. Yet they were unable to control events, even in those parts of the world considered to be their respective spheres of influence. The failure of the Soviet Union to have its way in Afghanistan, its decision to withdraw after almost a decade of ugly intervention,
was the most striking evidence that even the possession of thermonuclear weapons does not guarantee domination over a determined population."

" The United States has faced the same reality. It waged a full-scale war in Indochina, conducting the most brutal bombardment of a tiny peninsula in world history, and yet was forced to withdraw. In the headlines every day we see other instances of the failure of the presumably powerful over the presumably powerless, as in Bolivia and Brazil, where grassroots movements of workers and the poor have elected new presidents pledged to fight destructive corporate power."

" Looking at this catalogue of huge surprises, it's clear that the struggle for justice should never be abandoned because of the apparent overwhelming power of those who have the guns and the money and who seem invincible in their determination to hold on to it. That apparent power has, again and again, proved vulnerable to human qualities less measurable than bombs and dollars: moral fervor, determination, unity, organization, sacrifice, wit, ingenuity, courage, patience-whether by blacks in Alabama and South Africa, peasants in El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Vietnam, or workers and intellectuals in Poland, Hungary, and the Soviet Union itself. No cold calculation of the balance of power need deter people who are persuaded that their cause is just."

" I have tried hard to match my friends in their pessimism about the world (is it just my friends?), but I keep encountering people who, in spite of all the evidence of terrible things happening everywhere, give me hope. Wherever I go, I find such people, especially young people, in whom the future rests. And beyond the handful of activists there seem to be hundreds, thousands, more who are open to unorthodox ideas. But they tend not to know of one another's existence, and so, while they persist, they do so with the desperate patience of Sisyphus endlessly pushing the boulder up the mountain.
I try to tell each group that they are not alone, and that the very people who are disheartened by the absence of a national movement are themselves proof of the potential for such a movement."

" Revolutionary change does not come as one cataclysmic moment (beware of such moments!) but as an endless succession of surprises, moving zigzag toward a more decent society. We don't have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change.
Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can quietly become a power no government can suppress, a power that can transform the world. "

" Even when we don't "win," there is fun and fulfillment in the fact that we have been involved, with other good people, in something worthwhile. We need hope. An optimist isn't necessarily a blithe, slightly sappy whistler in the dark of our time. To be hopeful in bad times is not being foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of competition and cruelty but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness."

" What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places-and there are so many-where people have behaved magnificently, it energizes us to act, and raises at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don't have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory."

Perhaps Arundhati Roy is correct ~ "Not only is another world possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing."

P.T.S.D IS REALLY POST TRAUMATIC HEART DYSFUNCTION

It is obvious that the symptoms of PTSD are very similar to the symptoms of people being seemingly separated from love whereas deep psychic pain as well as feelings of guilt and unworthiness override the ability to give and receive love: Allen L Roland

In March 2005, PBS aired A SOLDIERS HEART where a physician on that show reported that every soldier in Iraq is forever emotionally changed after serving in combat .

This can actually become a hardening of the heart whereas the soldier eventually becomes seemingly incapable of giving and receiving love and retreats into a lonely and impenetrable shell .

So, in essence, this is a Post Traumatic Heart Dysfunction and many people suffer the same symptoms when they have been rejected, abandoned or hurt in a love relationship.

Post Traumatic Stress Dysfunction, or PTSD, is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as military combat, natural disasters, terrorist incidents, serious accidents, or violent personal assaults like rape. People who suffer from PTSD often relive the experience through nightmares and flashbacks, have difficulty sleeping, and feel detached or estranged, and these symptoms can be severe enough and last long enough to significantly impair the person's daily life. But, I would argue, people can suffer these very same symptoms when they are seemingly separated from love.

As such, Post Traumatic Stress Dysfunction is actually a Heart dysfunction where psychic pain, fear and guilt often override joy and love.

To many, suicide becomes the only choice, as Dr Gary Kohls writes ~  It is often said that 200,000 Vietnam vets have committed suicide since they came home from the war, although, with 30% of the huge US homeless population being nameless and homeless Vietnam veterans, the precise number is unknown and actually may be larger !

In my experience as a practicing psychotherapist ~ A person will take their own life only if they feel that the dark loveless tunnel of aloneness they exist in is their ONLY CHOICE. My role, as a therapist, is to help bring them to another life enhancing choice ~ and I maintain that cannot be accomplished without awakening their hearts through love. Only then will they begin to see through clearer eyes and realize that they indeed have ANOTHER CHOICE.

The PBS film, A Soldiers Heartdepicts a Marine Sergeant who opened fire on and killed an Iraqi civilian woman who was reaching onto her bag for a white flag as she approached their checkpoint. When he realized his mistake he broke down crying and was emotionally unable thereafter to carry out his duties. This is not an unusual incident .

P.T.S.D is occurring now at an alarming rate in Iraq and Afghanistan and the military can no longer sweep it under the rug by calling it battle field stress or cowardice.

There is only one logical explanation for this phenomenon and it is this ~ deepest in our hearts we have a need to love and be loved and it extends to all our brothers and sisters throughout the world. Longfellow called it The thread of all sustaining beauty that run through all and doth all unite.

I call it a Unified Field of love and soul consciousness that exists not only beyond time and space but also deepest within us all ~ and most certainly beneath our deepest fears and pain.

When we take someone else's life in combat ~ we destroy a part of our own heart in the process and we may never psychically recover from this incident on a soul level.

The same things happens when we consciously hurt someone we love or consciously withhold love from someone we love. We, in essence, are saying NO to our heart in the process and we  can suffer significant psychic damage on a soul level.

But when we kill someone ~ our heart becomehardened with guilt and it is almost impossible to accept or give love carrying this burden ~ which many of our Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans now bear.

When we close our heart  we enter a dark prison cell where our own bars of fear and unworthiness keep us from fully experiencing ourselves as well as others. Each of us can free ourselves from that self imposed lock down of the heart and the magic key is gratitude ~ beginning with ourselves

In my work, as a psychotherapist, with clients with P.T.S.D ~ I concentrate, with great success, on opening their hearts ~ initially through gratefulness to the people and friends who have been there for them and finally to love and they eventually forgive themselves in the processIt can happen rapidly as it did in Frank's case ~ see FRANK'S STORY / A PTSD SURVIVOR CONQUERS UNWORTHINESS http://blogs.salon.com/0002255/2008/03/31.html

I experienced something similar after a nine month cruise as an all-weather Navy fighter pilot on the USS Ranger in the early 1960's.

I was never in combat but I was trained to kill on command and would have fired my lethal missiles at a Chinese MIG if ordered to ~ probably without hesitation.

When I returned I had lost much of my innocence, my heart had hardened to some degree and my loved ones noted it.

Eventually my heart opened ~ but it may have been much more difficult if I had taken someone's life.

Perhaps we have reached the point in our evolution where we will begin to see all men as our brothers and realize that nonviolence must be a universal spiritual practice ~ if we are to further evolve.

Martin Luther King Jr said it best;

Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of the spirit . You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him .

I am now increasingly concentrating on healing these wounded members of our torn society ~ so please do not hesitate to call me (707) 935-1908 if you know of anyone who needs this help.

THE NEW PENTAGON PAPERS / THE EIKENBERRY CABLES

scott brown

Karl Eikenberry, current ambassador to Afghanistan and a former U.S. General.

The albatross around the neck of Obama is Afghanistan and the Eikenberry cables of November 2009 show that Obama's cowardly decision to cave in to General Patraeus's surge request was to both avoid a National Intelligence Review and to politically avoid appearing soft on terrorism in an election year: Allen L Roland

Daniel Ellsberg, the man who blew the whistle on the fraud of the Vietnam War 35 years ago, by copying the Pentagon Papers and turning them over to the New York Times ~ who then  took 18 months to publish them ~ would have had them instantly published on today's Internet and at the expense of far fewer lives.

Afghanistan is President Obama's Vietnam and Ray McGovern, Consortium News, has opened the door to the obvious fraud of Afghanistan in his excellent article Obama Ignores Key Afghan Warning ~ where he writes " Nothing highlights President Barack Obama’s abject surrender to Gen. David Petraeus on the “way forward” in Afghanistan more than two cables U.S. Ambassador Karl Eikenberry sent to Washington on Nov. 6 and 9, 2009, the texts of which were released by the New York Times."

McGovern rightfully concludes ~ " Sadly, the inevitable conclusion is that, although Obama is not as dumb as his predecessor, he is no less willing to sacrifice thousands of lives for political gain."

Excerpts:

" Ambassador Eikenberry, a retired Army Lt. General who served three years in Afghanistan over the course of two separate tours of duty, was responsible during 2002-2003 for rebuilding Afghan security forces. He then served 18 months (2005-2007) as commander of all U.S. forces stationed in the country.

In the cable he sent to Washington on Nov. 6, Eikenberry explains why, “I cannot support [the Defense Department’s] recommendation for an immediate Presidential decision to deploy another 40,000 here.” His reasons include:

–Afghan President Hamid Karzai is not “an adequate strategic partner.” His government has “little to no political will or capacity to carry out basic tasks of governance. … It strains credulity to expect Karzai to change fundamentally this late in his life and in our relationship.”

–Karzai and many of his advisers “are only too happy to see us invest further. They assume we covet their territory for a never ending ‘war on terror’ and for military bases to use against surrounding powers.”

Eikenberry is even more direct in his cable of Nov. 9, taking strong issue with “a proposed counterinsurgency strategy that relies on a large, all-or-nothing increase in U.S. troops,” and warning of the risk that “we will become more deeply engaged here with no way to extricate ourselves.”

Condemning Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s recommendations with faint praise, Ambassador Eikenberry describes them as “logical and compelling within his [McChrystal’s] narrow mandate to define the needs for a military counterinsurgency campaign within Afghanistan.”

“Unaddressed variables,” says Eikenberry, “include Pakistan sanctuaries, weak Afghan leadership and governance, NATO civilian-military integration, and our national will to bear the human and fiscal costs over many years. "

He adds, “We have not yet conducted a comprehensive, interdisciplinary analysis of all our strategic options. Nor have we brought all the real-world variables to bear in testing the proposed counterinsurgency plan. …

“This strategic re-examination could either include or lead to high-level U.S. talks with the Afghans, the Pakistanis, the Saudis and other important regional players ~ including possibly Iran.”

Extraordinary.  Here is the U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan bemoaning the fact that, as the President approaches his decision on a large troop increase, there has still been no comprehensive analysis of the wider issues that remain “unaddressed” in McChrystal’s proposal.

The list of issues he says this panel “should examine” reads like what the intelligence community calls the “terms of reference” for an NIE. (As a CIA analyst and manager I contributed to many NIEs and chaired a few myself.)

When the White House gave Eikenberry short shrift, he should have resigned, rather than support the misbegotten strategy Obama chose.

During my tenure at CIA (from the administration of John Kennedy to that of George H. W. Bush), I cannot think of an occasion on which a President chose to forgo a National Intelligence Estimate before making a key decision on foreign policy.

It may be that one needs to have worked at senior levels on the “inside” to understand the twinge that I felt after downloading the NODIS cables made available by The Times.

In my day we had to go to the CIA Director’s office, sign for, and read NODIS cables right there. No doubt there are similar controls today. So, in this case the whistleblower took considerable risk in taking it upon him/herself to make “transparency” real, not just Obaman rhetoric.

Thanks to The Times and its courageous source, we now know not only that President Obama elected to forego an honest NIE, but that he did so in the face of very strong urging from Ambassador Eikenberry that Obama “widen the scope” of analysis before he simply kowtowed to the Army brass."

Complete McGovern article at ~ http://www.infowars.com/obama-ignores-key-afghan-warning/

So Obama, probably at the urging of Emanuel and other Administration hawks, could not take the risk of appearing soft on terrorism, ignored the need for more facts, ignored the majority of Americans who want out of Afghanistan and sold his soul and hundreds of American lives for temporary political gain.

Perhaps it was the cowards way out as McGovern explains ~    " The President and other misguided Democrats are hell bent on preventing the bemedaled Petraeus, a likely Republican candidate for President in 2012, from painting them soft on terrorism. Letting Petraeus run the policy, while avoiding any critical intelligence analysis, is Obama’s safe ~ and cowardly ~ way out."

Regardless, It's the same sad story with different characters and as the late Howard Zinn said ~ " The government will try to deceive the people, and the newspapers and television may do the same, but the truth has a way of coming out. The truth has a power greater than a hundred lies. "

And like the Pentagon Papers ~ The Eikenberry Cables tell the truth about a fraudulent war and an equally morally flawed President. But it also ominously confirms a Pentagon controlled administration.

THE CORPOCRACY RULES / FOR NOW

po100125.gif

Aided by a mind boggling decision by the Supreme Court allowing unlimited campaign spending by private interests ~ the Corpocracy, where corporate dollars trump individual votes, has revealed its ominous ruling presence and insatiable appetite for power, profit and control but also has set the stage for a populist revolt: Allen L Roland

Now that the Supreme Court has ruled that corporations may buy and own as many congressman as they can afford ~ it's time for a widespread populist revolt particularly in this mid term election year.

As John Geyman noted last year in the Huffington Post ~ " The scope of corpocracy goes beyond what most of us realize. According to a 2007 report of the Institute for Policy Studies, 51 of the top 100 economic entities in the world are corporations. Wal-Mart and Exxon Mobil each have higher annual revenues than the gross domestic product of Poland or Saudi Arabia. The top 200 corporations account for about one-quarter of total economic activity in the entire world."

Geyman goes on to reveal " that Most of these large corporations are multinational and largely immune from the laws of any one nation. They are free to set up partnerships of convenience across borders, seek out countries that best serve their interests, and often pay little or no taxes." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/john-geyman/corpocracy-vs-democracy-i_b_241452.html

This is a dangerous time for American where our Republic is rapidly morphing into a Plutocracy or government by the wealthy. FDR warned of this possibility in 1938 ~

"The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic State itself. That, in its essence is Fascism ~ ownership of government by individual, by a group, or any controlling private power."

The game is on ~ the enemy has been identified ~ as activist groups organize and a few courageous politicians try to implement legislative stop gaps to this insidious corporate cancer but corporate groups are also ready to attack the legislators who dare to oppose them.

Forget Obama, whose allegiance to the corpocracy gained him the presidency, we all need to be involved in this upcoming battle of the people versus the corpocracy and Bill Moyers sums up the stakes this election year ~ "The game goes on and the insiders keep dealing themselves winning hands. Nothing will change ~ nothing ~ until the moneylenders are tossed out of the temple, the ATM's are wrested from the marble walls, and we tear down the sign they've place on government - the one that reads, 'For Sale.'"

As Chris Hedges, who wrote Empire Of Illusions, says "Our for-profit health care system makes money off of death, the same way our arms merchants make money off of death. And the inability within our country to face this reality, the inability in a corporatized media to even have this discussion is, I think, evidence of the power of the corporate state, which drives debate, which permits institutions that are morally bankrupt to have a seat at the table. And that is symptomatic of a society in deep decay."

We are beyond the point of no return and only a full fledged populist revolt can right this badly listing Republic. Under G.W. Bush, torture became legal and under Obama, bribery has just become legal. It should be obvious to all now that Obama's true base is the corpocracy .

CAN IT REALLY BE THIS SIMPLE ?

It is only through the heart that one can see clearly ~ what is essential is invisible to the human eye and exists not only beyond time and space but also deepest within ourselves in the form of a Unified Field of love: Allen L Roland

Lincoln Barnett once wrote ~ " The great philosophical triumph of any Unified field is implicit in the first word of its title. It will carry to logical fulfillment the long course of science towards the unification of man's concepts of the physical world. For from its august perspective, the entire universe would appear as one elemental field in which each atom, each flying electron, each star, each wandering comet and slow-wheeling galaxy is seen to be but a ripple or tumescence in the underlying space-time unity. And so a profound simplicity would supplant the surface complexity of nature. Thus all man's perceptions of the world and all his abstract intuitions of reality would merge finally into one, and the deep underlyng unity of the universe would be laid bare."

Let me once again state that the deep underlying unity of the universe is a psychic energy field of universal love and soul consciousness ( the Unified Field ) which lies not only beyond time and space but also beneath our deepest fears ~ and whose principle property is the universal urge to unite.

As such, the universe does appear, to me, as one elemental field of love wherein each atom, each star and each slow-wheeling galaxy is but a ripple or tumescence in the underlying space-time unity.

With the acceptance of this unified field of love, a profound simplicity would indeed supplant the surface complexity of nature and a profound responsibility would be asked of each one of us ~ LOVE ONE ANOTHER !

Love in all its subtleties is nothing more, and nothing less, than the more or less direct trace marked on the heart of the element by the psychical convergence of the universe upon itself. This, if I am not mistaken, is the ray of light which will help us see more  clearly around us: Teilhard de Chardin

Yes, it really is this simple, and it is also Teilhard's ray of light. Einstein would surely be delighted with this truth for he is said to have mistrusted complicated theories and to have felt that the simplest explanation of any physical phenomenon was sure to be the right one. As Joseph Bronowski wrote in The Ascent Of Man: " Einstein  was a man who could ask immensely simple questions. And what his life showed, and his work, is that when the answers are simple too, then you hear God thinking."

One of the simple truths that Einstein observed is that whether you are dealing with time, space, matter or energy ~ the speed of light is inextricably involved.

However, it is my observed truth ( through the eyes of love )  that whether you are dealing with time, space, matter or energy ~ the speed of light is actually a condition of state within a Unified Field of love and soul consciousness. That time itself is merely a condition of state within this field ~ for love is timeless.

Can it really be this simple ?

That deepest within us is a field of universal love and soul consciousness that we ignore at our peril.

That the universe is constantly saying yes to us and we persistently say no.

That the universe asks only that we find and express our own unique gift within a universal loving plan.

That the universe incessantly demands that we fully open our hearts and become one with that universal loving plan.

That we are continually being called from within to the path of the heart but few listen and fewer still respond.

That we are, in essence, afraid of the love and joy that is deepest within each one of us.

That saying yes to myself is giving full expression of my deepest feelings regardless of the risk .

That fully opening my heart in relationship is the shortest path to soul consciousness ~ and it is the ultimate yes to myself.

That the ultimate aim of love is to become a fragment of life's heart and in so doing ~ become one with the Unified Field and a state of soul consciousness.

Can it really be this simple ?

YES !

This Unified field would also seem to fit within Einstein's grand aim of science which, he said, is " to cover the greatest number of empirical facts by logical deduction from the smallest number of hypotheses or axioms "

Let me share an axiom, from Teilhard de Chardin,  which would fit within Einstein's grand aim of science and which serves as the foundation of my Unified Field.

Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them for it alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest within themselves.

As I have stressed throughout my life and work, the path of transformation is not easy ~ there are no shortcuts to soul consciousness. Furthermore, this path is not through the mind but through the heart. Teilhard called this difficult process of transcending the ego the crisis of Conversion and it is never painless ~ for it is the path through our deepest fears.

But how comforting it becomes when we realize that deepest within us, beneath the pain and fear, is joy, intention and purpose as well as our original loving state of soul consciousness ~ the Unified Field of love.

It really is this simple !

When the heart achieves its desire, you shall transcend time and space.

These words by Mahfouz, the great Egyptian poet who won the Nobel Prize for poetry, state a profound truth that I have been aware of for many years ~ for the heart's desire is to love so deeply that we become a fragment of life's heart as well as one with the Unified Field.

I knew this at four years old when, filled with love and joy, I leaned out  that window in Newtonville, Massachusetts and realized I was not alone. I felt and saw my oneness with all for I had, indeed, transcended time and space and was in a blissful state of soul consciousness.

My heart's desire has always been to feel and love that deeply again, to feel once more my oneness with all, to see through those same eyes that had transcended time and space ~ and to share the truth of what I see from a place of gratitude and service, as I am now sharing with you

Only by fully surrendering to love did I find this holy grail ~ as you will to. In the end, this is our common journey ~ to reunite with a state of soul consciousness that we all once knew as children ~ a state of consciousness that binds the universe with its universal urge to unite ~ a state of consciousness that lies beyond ego consciousness ~ a state of consciousness that lies beyond death ~ a state of consciousness that can truly be experienced only by surrendering to love.

And this is precisely what I do as a therapist ~ jump starting my client's hearts and leading them to a place of another life enhancing choice in a few sessions ~ because they are, in essence, healing themselves by surrendering to love.

Can it really be this simple ?

Yes, it is ! And, as Teihard predicted, this is the truth that shall set everything ablaze.

Sooner or later there will be a chain reaction ~ for the truth has to appear only once, in one single mind, for it to be impossible for anything ever to prevent it from spreading universally and setting everything ablaze.

MASSACHUSETTS THROWS SHOE AT OBAMA ADMINISTRATION

Iraqi reporter Muntazer al-Zaidi listens during a news conference at the Geneva press Club in Geneva October 19, 2009. REUTERS/Denis Balibouse

Muntazer al-Zaidi, the Iraqi journalist, who threw his shoes at President George W Bush in late 2008 and inspired a worldwide populist movement against political injustice.

Massachusett's voters have literally thrown a shoe at the Obama administration, with the election of Republican Scott Brown, demanding the change they voted for in 2008 and stating emphatically that they will no longer accept the status quo: Allen L Roland

Make no mistake about it ~ a shoe was thrown by the angry voters of Massachusetts at the Obama Administration who, quite simply, have not delivered on their promises and are in severe danger of losing the two principle forces that carried them to victory in 2008 ~ Progressives ( who sat on their hands in this election ) and Independents ( who are leaving the Obama camp in droves ).

It is becoming increasingly obvious that we need the emergence of an Independent third party ~ a party of true change ~ with no allegiance to either Democrats or Republicans.

Brown's victory was most certainly fueled by frustration with Obama's tepid agenda. According to the Washington Post  ~     " nearly two thirds  of Brown's voters say their vote was intended in part to express opposition to the Democratic agenda in Washington."

Speaking of numbers, here are some stunning new poll results from Massachusetts that all Democrats need to see ~ from boldprogressives.org.

" We polled people who voted for President Obama in 2008 and then for Republican Scott Brown for Senate.

  • On health care, they overwhelmingly support the public option (82%) and oppose the Senate bill because it "doesn't go far enough."

  • On the economy, by 2 to 1 they think Democrats put special interests ahead of the little guy ~ and they overwhelmingly want stronger regulation of Wall Street.

  • And 57% say Democrats are not "delivering enough on the change Obama promised."

Why did they vote for Scott Brown? They're angry, and Democrats weren't seen as fighting for the little guy. Brown pretended to be a populist, so he won."

Which brings me to Muntazer al-Zaidi, the Iraqi journalist, who threw his shoes at President George W Bush in late 2008 and not only became an instant hero but inspired a worldwide populist movement against political injustice. He was interviewed by the Guardian on September 23, 2009 and his impassioned answer as to why he threw his shoe at then President Bush should be required reading for all Progressives, Independents and voters who long for true change

" I am free. But my country is still a prisoner of war. There has been a lot of talk about the action and about the person who took it, and about the hero and the heroic act, and the symbol and the symbolic act. But, simply, I answer: what compelled me to act is the injustice that befell my people, and how the occupation wanted to humiliate my homeland by putting it under its boot.

Over recent years, more than a million martyrs have fallen by the bullets of the occupation and Iraq is now filled with more than five million orphans, a million widows and hundreds of thousands of maimed. Many millions are homeless inside and outside the country.

I am not a hero. But I have a point of view. I have a stance. It humiliated me to see my country humiliated; and to see my Baghdad burned, my people killed. Thousands of tragic pictures remained in my head, pushing me towards the path of confrontation. The scandal of Abu Ghraib. The massacre of Falluja, Najaf, Haditha, Sadr City, Basra, Diyala, Mosul, Tal Afar, and every inch of our wounded land. I traveled through my burning land and saw with my own eyes the pain of the victims, and heard with my own ears the screams of the orphans and the bereaved. And a feeling of shame haunted me like an ugly name because I was powerless.

As soon as I finished my professional duties in reporting the daily tragedies, while I washed away the remains of the debris of the ruined Iraqi houses, or the blood that stained my clothes, I would clench my teeth and make a pledge to our victims, a pledge of vengeance.

The opportunity came, and I took it.

I took it out of loyalty to every drop of innocent blood that has been shed through the occupation or because of it, every scream of a bereaved mother, every moan of an orphan, the sorrow of a rape victim, the teardrop of an orphan.

When I threw the shoe in the face of the criminal, George W Bush, I wanted to express my rejection of his lies, his occupation of my country, my rejection of his killing my people. My rejection of his plundering the wealth of my country, and destroying its infrastructure. And casting out its sons into a diaspora.

All that I meant to do was express with a living conscience the feelings of a citizen who sees his homeland desecrated every day.

I didn't do this so my name would enter history or for material gains. All I wanted was to defend my country."

Boldness and genius and power in it and we must be bold in 2010 or our Republic will be lost to the now Supreme Court christened corporate oligarchy and their army of congressional underlings. Corporations can now legally direct vast amounts of corporate money into electoral campaigns already awash with corporate campaign PAC contribution dollars. As Ralph Nader says ~ " without approval from their shareholders, corporations can now reward or intimidate people running for office at the local, state, and national levels. "

Massachusetts has fired the first shot or shoe in a long simmering progressive and independent rage at the lethargic Obama Administration's allegiance to Wall Street, the status quo and also justified anger toward politicians in general. 2010 must be a year of dramatic change and all of us have a part to play in it ~ if we will but take bold action as Muntazer al-Zaidi rightfully did in 2008 and Massachusetts did last Tuesday.
