SUNDAY REFLECTIONS 6/01/03
Living in Sonoma is living in paradise ! The weather is hot but it's a dry heat and every few days the marine layer comes in and mists everything down .
My home is a lovely french country house surrounded by gardens ~ which can be seen from every window . I pinch myself everyday to be so blessed to be living here !
My office , where my computer is , is only a half mile away . It's an historic sea captains house and only two blocks away from the famous Sonoma plaza. This is where I create magic as a psychotherapist .
However, the real magic is that I jump start peoples hearts and , in so doing, they heal themselves.

I'm increasingly disturbed that our President is openly attempting to deceive the world by claiming that we have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq ~ when in fact we have not found anything.
Bush is a very insecure man who is now attempting to bully the world to buy into his neo-conservative dream of Pax Americana .
When he makes statements like " now I guess everyone knows when I say something ~ I'm going to do it " ~ they are the words of a man who is using power and military might to accomplish his agenda versus diplomacy and social cooperation.
His achilles heel is CREDIBILITY and yesterdays blog by Bernard Weiner lays out the paper trail which could lead to the end of this reckless coup by a small band of neo conservatives ~ with Bush as their puppet.
It reminds me of this quote from John Adams ;
" Power always thinks it has a great soul and vast views beyond the comprehension of the weak and that it is doing God's work ~ when it is violating all his laws."

The democrats will only win the election in 2004 if they effectively raise the Credibility issue for it is here that George Bush is most vulnerable ~ and most Democrats and many moderate Republicans agree.
The true test of a person's character is not how they handle adversity but how they handle power and Bush has not only misused it but has also alienated the world community with his deception and lies.
Right now the only true voices of conscience in Congress are Dennis Kucinich in the House and Robert Byrd in the Senate.
But their voices are being heard , particularly in cyberspace , and their message is striking a chord that could fuel a revolution to restore our nation's credibility as well as it's historic role as a light of peace and hope to the world.
Only the truth is revolutionary !
