SUNDAY REFLECTIONS 6/08/03
It really bothers me to watch our National leaders lie and actually
seem to believe their lies ~ such as President Bush openly
declaring in Poland last week that " we have found the weapons
of Mass destruction ! "
This is what Denial is all about and when you start believing
your own lies ~ you are in deep trouble.
Ask any drug or substance abuse counselor and they will
tell you the same thing.
The WMD deception is like O.J. still looking for Nicole's
killer .

The analogy of how we , as a country, have caved in to the
agenda of a small group of neo-conservatives, posing as
compassionate conservatives , can easily be found in Germany
in the 1930's.
That country was in a severe depression and gave away it's
power to a small group of neo facists posing as neo -
conservatives ~ who used nationalism, patriotism and regime
change as their battle cry and utilized fear and deception as
the method of gaining control.
Are we not doing the same thing after being stunned and
shocked by 9/11 ?

On a more positive note I am happy summer has arrived
in Sonoma ~ I love the scenario of several hot days in the
Valley and then the marine layer moves in and cools everything
off before the next cycle begins.
This is indeed paradise ~ I feel blessed to live and work here.

My work as a psychotherapist is all about teaching people to
surrender to love and the realization that they have been
and are loved now.
Love is ultimate healer and CURE because love joins us to
what is deepest within ourselves.
Their is no such thing as an ugly soul ~ we are all emissaries
of love on a mission to a planet that is still in a state of
ego consciousness .
Our common mission is to open our hearts, discard our fear-
based ego and play our part in a universal loving plan.
Henry Miller says it eloquently;
I know what the great cure is ; it is to give up, to
relinquish, to surrender ~ so that our little hearts
may beat in unison with the great heart of the world.
