THE BIG PICTURE
The big picture is that the Cheney/Bush administration has
absolutely no interest in ending the Iraq quagmire ~ despite the fact
that almost 1000 Americans have died and well over 12,000 have
been seriously wounded.
The reason is strictly political ~ for as long as Cheney willfully lies
about an Iraq/Al-Qaeda link ~ millions of Americans will continue to
see our illegal occupation of Iraq as part
of the ' War on Terror '.
The table below shows data from the first Economist/yougov poll and proves my point .
The poll represents an online panel of 10,000 Americans
which eventually will grow to 20,000 over the coming

How could Bush be ahead with the general disatisfaction of his handling of the Presidency as well as the way things are
going in our country ?

And there you have it . The only way George Bush can win
in November is as the War President and continuing to
award tax benefits to the rich ~ many of whom are getting wealthy
at the expense of the Iraqis .
Thus , he has a vested interest in the turmoil in Iraq and the so
called ' War on terror ' ~ which deceptively includes Iraqi's fighting for their freedom from an unjust occupation.
As such, expect a gradually escalating terror alert as we
get closer to November and continued cover up of the deterioration in Iraq reinforcing the need to maintain our military presence as well as the construction of dozens of military bases ~ despite the cost in human life.
There is only one way to defeat this blatant Cheney
sponsored neo-conservative power grab and obvious manipulation by fear and that is the power of the people demanding social justice ~ similar to the people of Spain throwing out their government who misled and deceived them.
It's in our hands and only by raising our voices in unison
will we be heard .
