With Bush free falling in the polls and anti-war fever rising ~ it appears that the Cheney/Bush exit strategy will be through Iran.
Iraq's soon to be announced new Islamic government is already solidifying its ties with Iran and both China and Russia are cementing deals with oil rich Iran.
Russia and China today launched unprecedented joint military exercises involving air, sea and land forces, aimed at sending a message to the United States about their growing influence.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has also called for a timetable for the withdrawal of foreign military forces from Iraq.
The war with Iraq was and still is all about oil and the global powers are positioning themselves as peak oil nears.
As the pressure builds, here's the deadly scenario ~ Iran goes nuclear, United States and/or Israel launch a preemptive strike against their facilities. China and Russia back Iran and away we go ~ Cold war is reactivated, Cheney/Bush institute martial law ( Patriot Act III ), fear reigns and Republicans once again ride the war wagon to victory.
At the present time in America, the principle of unrestricted presidential power is being codified into law and incorporated into the institutional structures of the state, as Deep Blade Journal reported in an excellent summation of recent outrages against liberty. And John Roberts is a strong advocate for these changes.
Only one force can stop the four horseman of hubris ( Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld and Rice ) who have literally taken over the government and media.
The force of an enraged public demanding peace who are willing to take to the streets and shut down the government ~ much like our brothers and sisters did in Spain and Kiev.
That moment is drawing near.
