NIX ARNOLD'S SHAM ELECTION & BALLOT PROPOSITIONS
The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing : Albert Einstein
A 70% plus majority of Californians opposed a Special Election and the $80 to $100 million it is costing us as taxpayers .
Gov. Schwarzenegger nonetheless insisted on peddling his unpopular ideas in a Nov. 8, 2005 Special Sham Election ~ hoping for a low turnout of voters and a high turnout of representatives of his special interest groups ~ SO PLEASE VOTE !
In other words, it's all about power with Arnold and he is hoping his star power as a grade B movie star will hide his blatant attempt at a power grab.
Fortunately, the people of California have wised up to the Gropenfuhrer and his propositions are failing.
Here are my recomendations on the November 8th ballot propositions;
No on 73 ~ Don't legislate family relations.
No on 74 ~ Don't blame teachers.
No on 75 ~ Don't silence workers.
No on 76 ~ Stop the budget power grab.
No on 77 ~ Stop premature redistricting / wrong messenger
No on 78 ~ Stop phony prescription drug program.
Yes on 79 ~ Provide affordable prescription drugs.
Yes on 80 ~ Put an end to energy fraud.
Yes on Measure M ~ Measure M is a proposed 10 year ban on genetically engineered organisms. It would prohibit the cultivation, distribution and sale of transgenic ( genetically engineered or GE ) organisms. The objective is to protect Sonoma County farms, gardens and the public health from contamination by living, reproducing GE organisms.
Measure M defines the organisms it prohibits as only those living, transgenic organisms that can transmit their GE traits into the next generation. That definition excludes the organisms currently being used in human and veterinary medicines, vaccines such as insulin and in drugs used in treating cancer and heart disease.
Published studies have shown serious problems with GE food crops which obviously necessitates further investigation.
