MOLTEN BOLTON MUST GO

With the ' in your face ' recess appointment of John Bolton by George Bush last year ~ America's neocon face is now clearly visible to the rest of the world. Bolton is a Republican bully and stooge who answers only to Bush ~ who answers only to God and Cheney. It is the face of unilateralism, obstructionism, arrogance and swaggering hubris which is also the face of the Cheney/ Bush administration . However, this is not the true face of America ~ Only a united opposition to his reappointment to the United Nations will send a needed signal to the Cheney/Bush administration that their agenda is not America's agenda : Allen L Roland
In 2000, it was Howard Baker who put out a panic call for a
Republican stooge to disrupt the vote recount in Florida ~ that
stooge was John Bolton.
In 2005, Dick Cheney put out a panic call to halt the upgrading
process of the U.N and that Republican stooge was, once again, John Bolton ~ America's interim Ambassador to the U.N.
Make no mistake about it, John Bolton is the ugly and self serving face
of the Cheney/Bush Administration's neocon agenda and he answers only to them ~ not America.
Here is today's American Progress review of Bolton's performance to date;
BOLTON'S RECORD OF FAILURE: " Today the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold hearings on the nomination of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton. Last year, widespread opposition to Bolton forced Bush to circumvent the Senate with a recess appointment. Many objections to Bolton remain, including the White House's persistent refusal to release documents relating to Bolton requested by Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE).
Additionally, in Oct. 2005, Bolton testified that diplomacy has to happen outside of the New York "bubble," stating, "If we left it only in New York I think we'd have the bubble problem and trying to break through that bubble should be one of our main diplomatic efforts." However, Bolton has not lived up to his rhetoric. The ambassador has not attended any U.N. Security mission trips abroad since he was recess appointed as ambassador in Aug. 2005. He did not attend any of them. In early June, the ambassador passed up the delegation trip to Sudan to give a lecture at the Centre for Policy Studies, a right-wing think tank in London. Proponents of Bolton have pointed to his effectiveness at the U.N., but the reality is that Bolton has "furthered U.S. isolation" and "undercut U.S.-backed efforts to reform the sprawling bureaucracy of the United Nations."
