What the Iraq/Bush war shows the world is how a Cabal of Criminality, numbering less than a few hundred individuals, can bamboozle a nation into a war whose ramifications on our future we cannot yet fully comprehend. As we move closer to the mid term elections, let us not let the Lebanon war distract us from the reality of the moral consequences of the splendid little Iraq war waged by the Cheney/Rumsfeld/Bush cabal of criminality.
Iraq is indeed, where wishful uninformed thinking met hard reality and it's rose colored projections have now become a costly fantasy destined for the dusty book shelf of history ~ a footnote to where America lost its soul and moral bearings in the world.
We must never let this happen again and it must begin in November with a dramatic change in Congressional leadership.
