But I am now stating ~ that very same " Strong Force " also exists in space as the equally powerful and mysterious energy of dark matter holding the planets and galaxies together and keeping them from flying apart.
Asymptotic Freedom, as such, exists not only within the quantum world of the atom but in the galactic world of space ~ both the microcosm and the macrocosm.
This would also seemingly explain how the urge to unite would increase as the Universe continues to expand and why the planets and galaxies stay in alignment ~ much as Quarks are held together in the quantum world of the atom.
As such, Gravity is now subject to quantum laws and is a condition of state within a Unified Field that exists beyond time and space.
This answers Steven Hawking's dilemma ~ which was that a theory of everything would have to unite gravity with quantum mechanics.
According to astronomers, dark matter is critical to the universe's behavior. They believe that rotating spiral galaxies could fly apart if it were not for the gravitational pull exerted by the undetectable matter in addition to their stars.
However, some also believe that the universe is being prevented from expansion by a force greater than the gravitational pull of visible matter alone ~ and isn't that exactly what happens with Asymptotic Freedom in the quantum world of the atom.
In 1986, physicists reported on experiments that found gravity to be slightly weaker than the value predicted by Newton's theory--a discrepancy they took as a sign of a previously unnoticed fifth universal force ~ " This is the first indication that there is an additional, attractive force, " says Andrew Lazarewicz of the Air Force Geophysical Lab in Hanscom, Mass. "We see more gravity than there should be according to Newtonian law "
There can be no doubt that the consciousness of the observer is what limits the degree to which we can observe and experience the Unified field. Science has reached a dead end unless it acknowledges sensory experience and the universal urge to unite, even within the atom itself .
No one describes this rational scientific impasse more graphically than Lincoln Barnett (The Universe and Dr Einstein):

It is the words of Teilhard de Chardin that tell us that the bridge across that void is love and that this love is the primal and universal psychic energy.
As such, Teilhard's RADIAL energy can now be seen as one in the same with the Unified Field ~ which saturates the universe in its all pervading glory ;
" What name should we give, always in relation to our system, to this physico-moral energy of personalization to which all activities displayed by the stuff of the universe are finally reduced ?
Only one name is possible, if we are to credit it with the generality and power that it should assume on rising to the cosmic order: LOVE.
The physical structure of the universe is LOVE. "
It was the great Egyptian writer Mahfouz who wrote " When the heart achieves its desire, you shall transcend time and space " and the hearts desire, I would maintain, is to return to its original source of love, joy and soul consciousness ~ the Unified Field which, indeed, transcends time and space.
I first experienced this great source as a four year old child when I leaned out my window in Newtonville, Massachusetts, with my favorite song ( I'm Back in the Saddle Again ) blaring in the background, my heart filled with love and joy, and knew, for a moment in time, that I was connected to all of nature through that same deep love and delight I was feeling deepest within myself .
My whole life has been a journey to surrender to love, fully open my heart and eventually see through that child's innocent and knowing eyes again ~ and courageously share what I see as I am doing now with you, dear reader.
So, in summary ~ Asymptotic Freedom, the quantum strong force urge to unite, aka the Unified Field , not only exists within the atom but also exists in space as Dark Matter thus uniting the quantum world of the atom with the physical world of gravity, planets and galaxies ~ and yes, this is the truth that shall set everything ablaze.
As such, I defy any scientist or physicist to refute this finding for even Einstein always believed that a common pattern was there to be seen if one could look with the fresh clear eyes of a child.
