SADDAM WAS LYNCHED / HE KNEW TOO MUCH

Iniquity, committed in this world, produces not fruit immediately, but, like the earth, in due season, and advancing by little and little, it eradicates the man who committed it. ...justice, being destroyed, will destroy; being preserved, will preserve; it must never therefore be violated." Manu 1200 bc
I watched the shocking video footage of Saddam's execution and it most definitely was a lynching by a masked and vocal Shiite mob intent on revenge. Do not believe anything the Cheney/Bush administration or their flunky Ambassador or minions in Iraq say about wanting to delay this act ~ this was a swift and planned execution for one simple reason. Saddam knew far too much and was expendable ~ particularly in light of Democrat Rep John Murtha's upcoming investigations into Iraq. Those meetings will address accountability, military readiness, intelligence oversight and the activities of private contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Think Pandoras Box opening or better yet think Crime syndicate ~ and you come close to the mark with the Cheney/Bush administration.
The trial of Saddam was viewed by most as an event stage-managed by the Americans. According to Human Rights Watch, the Iraqi judges and lawyers involved in prosecuting Saddam were ill prepared and relied on their American advisers. American minders shut off the microphones and ordered the translators to halt whenever they disapproved of what was being said by the defendants.
Manuel Garcia Jr comes the closest to exposing this charade in his article in Dissident Voice EXECUTING SADDAM, PROTECTING THE RACKETS http://dissidentvoice.org/Dec06/Garcia30.htm
Excerpt: " Beyond its use as political theater for the masses, Saddam's execution was a spasm of pleasurable barbarism within the international club of the leadership class, a triumphal ritual by a victorious elite against a defeated adversary of its own class. It was an orgasm of power that aspired to be both primal and stylized like the delivery of the coup de grâce -- whether by a cat biting through the neck of its prey, or a lieutenant firing his pistol into the temple of one dispatched by a firing squad -- but came off graceless and chaotic like the frenzy of a lynching....And finally, Saddam's execution is a bit of necessary housekeeping by the managers of the war. It is the elimination of the possibility of damaging exposures by a former confederate. Donald Rumsfeld is not the only political operator who is relieved of any hazard of disclosures by Saddam... Saddam's case makes it obvious what would be required to bring our un-indicted war criminals to justice."
For background, watch this short 4 minute video which explains the CIA's role ( including Rumsfeld's ) in Saddams rise to power and is appropriately set to the music of Bing Crosby's ~ Thanks For The memories . http://www.ericblumrich.com/thanks.html
