Three dead American soldiers in Iraq
I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, more vengeance, more desolation. Some of these young men think that war is all glory but let me say war is all hell: William Tecumseh Sherman.
Last night the Sonoma Valley City Council chose not to bring to the table a resolution demanding a fast and orderly end to America's illegal war and occupation of Iraq.
However, over 75 people showed up, including myself, to voice their concern about the deteriorating events in Iraq and, as such, their voices were heard.
We can wait no longer and all Americans must let their local governments know that over 300 have already passed resolutions demanding that one more death is too many in Iraq.
