The price of our illegal ocupation of Iraq is written in the piercing
scream of this eleven year old Iraqi girl who lost her father and is clutching her broken heart .
Look closely,
for even more heartbreaking are the faces of those around her who, each in their own way, are trying to cope with her grief ~ which mirrors their own.
A father who took a police job because he needed to
support his family in an economy where unemployment
is well above 50% ~ and who was eventually murdered .
Multiply this anquished scream by thousands and you
begin to sense the magnitude of our crimes against the
people of Iraq.
All done under the false banner of freedom and
democracy.
All done under a smokescreen of lies and deceptions.
A smokescreen that hides the fact the Iraqi detention system contains some 34,000 detainees ~ in jail for atleast 18 months and treated as ' enemy combatants ' much like individuals at Quantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Look at those faces closely, for you are seeing the true human
agony of our illegal occupation of Iraq as well as the driving
force
of the growing insurgency.
It's time to leave !
