It's almost time, big man ~ Congress is lower than yourself in the approval ratings which puts us back on top.
So it's only 26 % but remember, it won't go lower because the Christian far right is already smelling armageddon and they are convinced you are ' The Divine Warrior ' ~ Revelations 19 , VII who will lead them to the final consummation ( chuckle )
Of course, our ace in the hole is Gen Petraeus's report in mid September which will demand that we need more time and that significant progress is being made.
Like Powell, he's a good soldier, very ambitious and will do what we tell him to do ~ just as he did in his Op-ed piece in the Washington Post just before the 2004 election.
In case you forgot ~ he wrote that " Iraqi leaders are stepping forward, leading their country and their security forces were doing just fine .."
Of course that was a crock and they were my words but hey ~ that's why I get paid the big bucks ( chuckle )
The Democrats are between a rock and a hard place ~ they can go against Patraeus's optimistic September report and we will shellack them with accusations of deserting the troops and believe me ~ they'll fold faster than a tent in a sandstorm.
And we can't wait for Hillary to be their Presidential nominee ~ talk about self destruct ~ here's our main theme ~ Do you really want to see the Clintons back in the White House ?? ( Note the two question marks for double emphasis )
And I get paid to have so much fun ( chuckle )
The only thing that could throw a wrench in our fun is if Gore decides to run. He is actually capable of uniting the Democrats and Independents and potentially could swamp us at the polls in 2008.
We don't have anything on him except the retread theme ~ and the last thing we want is the Democrats and independents lined up behind one candidate ~ a Gore/Edwards ticket would make me very nervous.
But, of course, all of that would change if we are still at war with Iraq ~ I can't believe they let us get away with still calling it a war. All they have to do is to rightfully call it an occupation and the jig is up for us ~ but they think it makes them sound tough ~ oops, just like we do ~ but enough on Iraq except for this important note ~
Since they don't want to take responsibility for this quagmire ( Oops, War ) by taking a firm stand to end it ~ they keep handing us more power and indirectly justify it ~ which is what we wanted in the first place ( does it get better than this, chuckle )
Speaking of power, Cheney is getting impatient ~ he wants fresh road kill and still has Iran in his sights.
We went over a timetable last week and he still figures August during the Congressional recess. That's because Congress will have a built in excuse that they couldn't have done anything to stop it ~ because they were on vacation.
Cheney says ~ " we are right where we want to be . Let them fire away with their subpoenas ~ we'll take executive priviledge to the Supreme Court and win 5 to 4 ~ we're in charge, we're the deciders and it's still our agenda "
He was laughing maniacally with a weird look on his face when he said this ~ it was alittle scary ~ but I digress.
Keep acting strong and above all ~ do not show any pain from your recent operation. Remember, you are beyond physical pain, emotional guilt and misgivings ~ you are the divine warrior " who rules the nations with a rod of iron " ~ More from Revelations19 and you thought I didn't read the bible.
