LOOKING FOR THE LIGHT IN THE GATHERING DARKNESS
In some ways, I think the public's disfavor toward Bush, Cheney, Gonzales and the rest of the corrupt crew down there in the White House bunker flows not just from their incompetence and dirty deeds but from an unconscious revulsion at having been dragged down into their fetid dark hole for much too long: Bernard Weiner, Co-Editor, The Crisis Papers |
We have all, indeed, been dragged down into the fetid black darkness of Cheney and Bush's black hole of fear, mistrust, lies and deceptions ~ and like a black hole in space ~ no light can escape its powerful tentacles.
Only one force is capable of defeating its fearsome self destructive pull and that is love and the Universal urge to unite which lies deepest within each one of us and is gradually pushing itself to the surface of our consciousness. The basic underlying and uniting force of the universe is a psychic energy field of love and soul consciousness ( THE UNIFIED FIELD ) which lies not only beyond time and space but ALSO beneath our deepest fears.
If there were no real urge to unite, even at a prodigiously rudimentary level, indeed, in the molecule itself ~ it would be physically impossible for love to appear higher up in the human form : Teilhard De Chardin
We need leaders now who will speak to this inner truth and awareness ~ for the world is waiting for this call to unite and leaders who will voice this call. Its starts with each one of us speaking our truth to power, as I do every day on my daily weblog, and then collectively all of us speaking our truth to Congress and demanding that they represent our moral values of truth and honor and not the dark nihilistic values of the Cheney/Bush administration ~ which, like a deadly cancer, has mortally infected and disabled our beloved Republic.
As MotherTeresa once said, Don't wait for the leaders, be the leader and I would add Find your voice and your power will follow.

Find your voice and you will find the light ~ for it burns brightly within each one of us.
