Allen L Roland's Radio Weblog
My ongoing theme is always the truth , as I see it , and the exposure of lies, deception and manipulation wherever they exist. I remain firmly convinced that the world can no longer resist its innate urge to unite and co-operate with one another and we are very close to the point where war can no longer be an option if this transformation is to occur. AMERICA IS SCREAMING FOR CHANGE ~ WE CAN BELIEVE IN

Over 80% of Americans are not satisfied with our current direction and are screaming for not only a change but a shift in consciousness or a national renewal and Barack Obama has touched that chord: Allen L Roland

February 5th, Super Tuesday, will reveal that the vast majority of Americans are longing for a profound change in direction which borders on a spiritual renewal or a shift from self serving ego consciousness to collective and empowering soul consciousness.

Frank Rich , New York Times, eluded to this very same thought yesterday ~ " There's nothing vague about the public's desire for national renewal in 2008, with a reviled incumbent in the White House and only 19 percent of the population finding the country on the right track, according to the last Wall Street Journal-NBC News poll. America is screaming for change. "

The world senses it also as Trudy Rubin reports from the recently concluded Davos World Economic forum ~ " In my informal survey of non-American attendees , Obama was the clear preference .. the buzz on Obama was that his victory would revive America's sinking image abroad "

Over 75% of Americans are not satisfied with our current direction and are screaming for not only a change but a shift in consciousness or a national renewal and Barack Obama has touched that chord. And, it is obviously reflected in the endorsements of many key Americans ~

Maria Shriver ~ "If Barack Obama was a state he'd be California,  I mean think about it: diverse, open, smart, independent, oppose tradition, innovative, inspiring, dreamer, leader."
And she touched on the ...themes of optimism and collective action that Obama has sought to build his campaign around
.
"He's not about himself. He's about the power of us and what we can do if we come together, He is about empowering women, African Americans, Latinos, old people, young people. He's about empowering all of us."

Joan Baez ~ " If anyone can navigate the contaminated waters of Washington, lift up the poor, and appeal to the rich to share their wealth, it is Sen. Barack Obama. If anyone can bring light to the darkened corners of this nation and restore our positive influence in world affairs, it is Barack Obama. If anyone can begin the process of healing and bring unity to a country that has been divided for too long, it is Barack Obama. It is time to begin a new journey."

Garrison Keillor ~ ( Letter to Obama ) " I'm happy to support your candidacy, which is so full of promise for our country. Seven years of a failed presidency is a depressing thing, and the country is pressing for a change and looking for someone with clear vision who is determined to break through the rhetorical logjam and find sensible ways to move our country forward. That's you, friend.
"I can't think of a happier prospect for next January than to see you and your wife and children stepping out on the platform in front of the Capitol for the inauguration. The sight of this will bring to an end a long sour chapter in our history. It will be an enormous moment. And of course it will be exciting to have a president who can speak with grace and power to the American people. Your campaign is a great tonic for America and that's why so many young people are excited about it. I congratulate you on your awesome achievement so far and pledge my support toward victory in November."

Vote for change we can believe in ~ vote Obama !
