THE HILLARY CORONATION THAT NEVER HAPPENED / SUPER TUESDAY
The Clintons were planning for a coronation last Tuesday but were stopped in their tracks by the voice of the people, Barack Obama ~ who represents character versus identity, integrity versus deception, commonality versus entitlement, inspiration versus triangulation, change versus the status quo and the people versus the establishment: Allen L Roland
Virtually 80% of Americans want a change of direction in Washington, D.C. and Super Tuesday gave them a glimpse of the promised land ~ and suddenly the people, and particulary the youth of America, sense what Obama said on Tuesday night ~ "What once was a whisper has turned into a chorus."
The Washington establishment is on trial this election and make no mistake about it ~ The Clintons are part of the establishment and only Barack Obama offers the potential of true change.
With Obama winning 14 states to Clinton's eight and many of those states red states ~ the political map favors Obama who is well organized and has the momentum versus the Clintons who are now having to scamble and dig into their own millions to finance their political ambitions and the surprise ascendancy of Barack Obama.
Barack won 2-to-1 in traditionally conservative states where Democrats are hungry for a nominee who can change the map and help Democrats up and down the ticket win in November.
Obama also scored wins in every region of the country — New England, the Mid-Atlantic, the South, the Midwest, the Rocky Mountain states, and the West
The achilles heel for Hillary is her unpopularity with Democratic men voters which she lost by 20 points in Delaware, 21 points in Connecticut and 39 points in Georgia ~ and how many of Obama's young voters would switch to an establishment candidate like Hillary if she won the nomination ? Virtually none I would guess.
As Laura Flanders writes ~ " give this long primary season credit: It has, at least, turned that overused word "change" from a bumper slogan pooh-poohed by all knowledgeable pundits into a fact-based phenomenon "
But this change will have to happen first in the Democratic party because its once proud progressive roots were pruned and triangulated by the Clintons into a centrist and powerless voice of appeasement ~ as witnessed by the performance of the current Democratic leadership.

Here are six reasons Hillary should be worried about Super Tuesday ~ 1. She lost the delegate derby 2. She essentially tied Obama in the popular vote 3. She substantially lost more states ( 14 to 8 ) 4. She lost the January cash war 5. The calendar is her enemy with many more Obama friendly states on the immediate horizon. 6. Obama has the momentum .
Obama is the future of the Democratic party and if the Democratic leadership and establishment fails to recognize this ~ and the people's will is denied in August ~ the party will not only fragment but will lose in November.
