OBAMA EULOGIZES HIS GRANDMOTHER AS A QUIET HERO
“She was one of those quiet heroes that we have all across America,” Mr. Obama said. “They’re not famous. Their names are not in the newspapers, but each and every day they work hard.
“They aren’t seeking the limelight. All they try to do is just do the right thing. In this crowd there are a lot of quiet heroes like that.” |
Barack Obama eulogized his beloved grandmother ' Toots ' in North Carolina shortly after he heard of her passing away yesterday at age 86 in Hawaii.
Three minute Video: Obama let us into his private grief and celebration of his last living family member at an event
in Charlotte yesterday.
Those who we love deeply become part of us forever as my beloved grandfather will always live in my heart ~ and toots will always live in Barack's heart and be so acknowledged when he takes office on January 20th, 2009 as the 44th President of the United States.
Please vote today for this immensely gifted and obvious leader for our troubled times ~ Barack Obama.
Be a quiet hero and vote for true change.
