Allen L Roland's Radio Weblog
My ongoing theme is always the truth , as I see it , and the exposure of lies, deception and manipulation wherever they exist. I remain firmly convinced that the world can no longer resist its innate urge to unite and co-operate with one another and we are very close to the point where war can no longer be an option if this transformation is to occur. FLYING SHOE IS MIDDLE EAST BATTLE CRY FOR JUSTICE

He humiliated the world's "leader" and the nation that swallowed him twice through Bush's rigged banana republic elections. He has done more non-violently with his two shoes to prove the point of the oppressed of these years for Iraq, Afghanistan, and the silenced ghetto of Gaza, than all that Al Qaeda wanted to do but did not achieve: Dr Nurden Almustakim

Muntazer al-Zaidi has become a folk hero in the Middle East by non-violently speaking the truth to false power through his two shoes ~ and, in the process, he has become both a symbol and an energizing force for the Iraqi Resistance movement ~ as well as growing Middle East public resentment towards Bush. ( See Mosiac four minute Video ) http://www.linktv.org/video/3412#

Thousands of Iraqis have demanded the release of this local TV reporter who threw his shoes at US President George W Bush at a Baghdad news conference.

Crowds gathered in Baghdad's Sadr City district, calling for "hero" Muntadar al-Zaidi to be freed from custody ~ and Officials at the Iraqi-owned TV station, al-Baghdadiya, called for the release of their journalist, saying he was exercising freedom of expression.

'He [George Bush] deserves to be hit with 100, not just one or two shoes. Who wants him to come here?' A Baghdad resident exclaimed.

The Middle East tinder box of righteous indignation at their own despots, puppet governments as well as the United States and Israel has been re-ignited by this simple gesture of non-violent protest .

As for Iraq's Banana Republic elections in 2005 ~ Scott Ritter wrote ~  " that the Jan. 30 elections, which George W. Bush has called "a turning point in the history of Iraq, a milestone in the advance of freedom," were not so free after all. Ritter said that U.S. authorities in Iraq had manipulated the results in order to reduce the percentage of the vote received by the United Iraqi Alliance from 56% to 48%. Asked by UFPPC's Ted Nation about this shocker, Ritter said an official involved in the manipulation was the source, and that this would soon be reported by a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist in a major metropolitan magazine ~ an obvious allusion to New Yorker reporter Seymour M. Hersh." http://www.ufppc.org/content/view/2295/2/

How can you possibly have a free election in an occupied country, where 70% of the people did not vote ~ and we were obviously counting the votes.

"The flying shoe speaks more for Arab public opinion than all the despots/puppets that Bush meets with during his travels in the Middle East," said Asad Abu Khalil, a popular Lebanese-American blogger and professor at Stanislaus University in California at www.angryarab.blogspot.com

As such, the flying shoe is a middle East battle cry for justice and Obama cannot afford to ignore it ~ or the shoes will soon be aimed at him.
