Allen L Roland's Radio Weblog
My ongoing theme is always the truth , as I see it , and the exposure of lies, deception and manipulation wherever they exist. I remain firmly convinced that the world can no longer resist its innate urge to unite and co-operate with one another and we are very close to the point where war can no longer be an option if this transformation is to occur. CELEBRATING JESUS / THE REVOLUTIONARY

image

This arresting picture of Jesus as a revolutionary, imitating the style of the famous poster of 1960s fighter Che Guevara, was produced as an advertising poster encouraging people to go to church during Easter 1999

Jesus must be seen as a revolutionary ~ a spiritual revolutionary whose dramatic message of love, altruism, forgiveness and soul consciousness deeply resonates with the same deep chord of soul consciousness ( the Unified Field ) within ourselves ~ beneath our deepest pain, fear and ego consciousness.

As such, Jesus then becomes an evolutionary and revolutionary forerunner for a love and state of soul consciousness that is deepest within us all ~ and a love which we all unconsciously seek in our individual quests to find and celebrate our authentic selves.

Robert Warren Cromey, retired S.F. Episcopal priest, captured the true spirit of Jesus, the revolutionary, in today's San Francisco Chronicle. Here's an excerpt ~

" Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus the revolutionary. In the extreme poverty of the Roman world 2,000 years ago, Jesus made enemies by advocating things  like peace and justice, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, focusing on the poor, jabbing the powerful and holding the foolish accountable. He radically suggested people love and forgive their enemies and one another.

When the Christian churches get back to the basics of the message of Jesus, the Jewish prophet, they will flourish.

The reason that Jesus is remembered by so many in the world is the appeal of these deep human values. When church and world truly stand for love and not power, when we stand for forgiveness and not vengeance, we will finally be following the true message of the man whose birth we celebrate at this season.
