MEP HANNAN LABELS GORDON BROWN ' PATHOLOGICALLY INCAPABLE '
The wonderful gift of the parlimentary system is the opportunity to tell the unvarnished truth to the Prime Minister or any minister, for that matter, with conviction and without fear of retaliation as MEP Dan Hannan ably demonstrates with British PM Gordon Brown while labeling him 'pathologically incapable' : Allen L Roland
If only some United States Congressman or Senator had found the courage to say these same words to George W Bush over the past eight years ~ for the majority of the country and most of Europe firmly knew Bush was pathologically incapable .
With that in mind, some brutal home truths were served up by MEP ( Member European Parliament ) and Conservative MP for South East England Dan Hannan at the European Parliament in response to Gordon Brown’s recent lame economic address to that body. Hannan obviously spoke for the European Union as his remarks were greeted with sustained applause ~ particularly when he ended his remarks by rightfully calling Brown a 'devalued minister' of a 'devalued government'.
However, everything Hannan said to Brown applies to America for Brown is in lockstep with the failed policies of George W Bush, Tony Blair and now Obama, and Great Britain is now suffering the same grave consequences to their economy and financial markets.
Hannan's articulate and blunt words to Gordon Brown were meant to be heard across the Atlantic ~ particularly in light of Geithner's recent toxic bailout folly.
Mike Whitney describes Geithner's present toxic bailout plan ~ " Here's what everyone needs to know: The US government (you) will provide up to 94 percent of the financing (low interest, of course) for dodgy mortgage-backed assets that no one in their right mind would ever buy so that wealthy and politically-connected banksters can scrub up to $1 trillion of red ink from their balance sheets.
