GALLOWAY SKEWERS JEWISH DEFENSE LEAGUE IN CANADA

One voice, however, rings out loud and clear and that is the voice of George Galloway, five times elected British MP, who recently carried his sword of truth and aid to Gaza ( breaking the blockade ) and now to Canada ~ despite the wrath of the Jewish Defense League of Canada ( JDL ).
The Jewish Defense League, also known as JDL, was established in 1968 for the declared purpose of protecting Jews by whatever means necessary in the face of what was seen by the group’s principals as their dire peril. The founder, national chairman and leader of the JDL was a then-38-year-old ordained rabbi from Brooklyn, New York, Meir Kahane, who, in 1990, was assassinated in New York by an Arab extremist.

Supposedly, the JDL opposes what it considers threats to the Jewish people, whether from Arabs, evangelizing Christians or pro-peace Jews. It claims about 13,000 members but some experts estimate there are only a few dozen active members.
"They're extremists. They really have been marginalized. None of the credible (Jewish) groups would have anything to do with these people," said Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino.
Galloway, an anti-war advocate who has resided in the British House of Commons for the past 23 years, is currently on a speaking tour of North America, which includes dates in Canada ~ but he is perceived as a threat by the JDL.
Two weeks ago, allegations surfaced that he had financially supported Hamas, a group that Canada defines as a terrorist organization. On a preliminary basis, the Canada Border Services Agency decided to block Galloway from entering Canada ~ and right wing Heritage Minister Jason Kenney then said he would not intervene in that decision thus setting up the current confrontation of Galloway's right to free speech and the Jewish Defense League's favorite argument of anti-semitism.
Here is a six minute video of Galloway facing off with Weir Weinstein, director of the Jewish Defense League of Canada, and it's the same old JDL talking points of Hitler, the holocaust and finally verbal threats which Galloway politely skewers with the truth ~ which leaves JDL leader Weinstein looking and sounding pathetically empty.
