IT'S TIME FOR A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR FOR TORTURE, INCORPORATED

On last Thursday, President Obama released memos that describe, in horrific detail, the torture techniques authorized by the Bush administration. Appoint a special prosecutor for these criminal acts, which will eventually lead to the 9/11 coverup, and finally bring Cheney, Bush and Rumsfeld to justice: Allen L Roland
So far there's been no accountability for the architects of Bush's torture program. We need a full investigation and real consequences for those responsible ~ it's the only way to keep this from happening again as well as restore our moral standing in the world.
It was Inge Genefke , Danish Doctor & Human Rights Activist, who wrote in 1938 ~ "The aim of torture is to destroy a person as a human being, to destroy their identity and soul. It is more evil than murder."
And torture is absolutely illegal. The U.S. ratified the United Nations Convention Against Torture, which prohibits torture and requires prosecution of torturers. In 1947, the U.S. prosecuted a Japanese officer for waterboarding. No lawyer can "legalize" what is illegal.
Here is Keith Olbermann's Special Comment on why a better future for the United States must begin with a criminal investigation into who is responsible for the Bush administration torture memos ~ 5 minute VIDEO http://www.truthout.org/video/041809Y
Buried in the recently released memos, according to the Center for American Progress, are accounts from a former senior U.S. intelligence official and a former Army psychiatrist claiming that the Bush administration "put relentless pressure on interrogators to use harsh methods on detainees in part to find evidence of cooperation between al Qaeda and the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's regime" in order to justify an invasion of Iraq (no such link has ever been established).
"Everyone was worried about some kind of follow-up attack [after 9/11]," the former intelligence official said. "But for most of 2002 and into 2003, Cheney and Rumsfeld, especially, were also demanding proof of the links between al Qaeda and Iraq that [former Iraqi exile leader Ahmed Chalabi and others had told them were there." "Cheney's and Rumsfeld's people were told repeatedly, by CIA...and by others, that there wasn't any reliable intelligence that pointed to operational ties between bin Laden and Saddam," the official said, adding that senior administration officials "blew that off and kept insisting that we overlooked something." "The more frustrated people got in not being able to establish that link...there was more and more pressure to resort to measures that might produce more immediate results," the former Army psychiatrist said. http://pr.thinkprogress.org/2009/04/pr20090422
Now why would Cheney and Rumsfeld be exerting all this pressure on interrogators unless they were also trying to establish an al Qaeda / Saddam Hussein link to rationalize their false flag 9/11 cover-up. I predict that a special prosecutor on the torture program will eventually lead to the Pandora's box of the 9/11 cover-up ~ which would also implicate Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.
I signed a petition urging Attorney General Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate and prosecute those responsible for the Bush-era torture program. Can you join me at the link below? http://pol.moveon.org/torture/
