OBAMA MUST REDEFINE HIS 'NEW WORLD ORDER'

President Obama needs to immediately and publicly redefine his ' New World Order ' to mean a world cemented in social economic cooperation and global altruism versus a world fragmented by divisions of the rich and poor as well as controlled by a powerful and secretive group of financial self-serving globalists: Allen L Roland
On April 4th I wrote that Obama was preparing for the New World order whereas that term is no longer seen as a conspiracy theory, having now been mentioned several times during the recent G20 world Conference, and will obviously be the vehicle through which the global banking elite continue to regulate economic markets ~ at the expense of the poor and destitute nations as well as the masses.
I also wrote that President Obama's immense world popularity will be utilized, as it is already being done in Europe, to enlist the people of the world in accepting this inevitable New World Order. As such, Obama will become the cheerleader for this accelerating concentration of financial power, and the masses will willingly feed on this economic poison ~ unless we act soon. http://blogs.salon.com/0002255/2009/04/04.html
One of the most important ways we can act is forcing President Obama to redefine his New World Order to Americans ~ because right now it is still rightfully being seen as the continuation of the unregulated, unconstitutional and self serving strategies and devices of the Cheney/Bush administration or the Old World Order.
Wilmer J. Leon III, Truthout, asks this same question regarding Obama's New World Order but also demands the same transparency and action before we become believers.
President Obama's New Approach to a New World Order?

Excerpts:
"In the 20th and early 21st centuries, a number of world leaders, such as Woodrow Wilson, Winston Churchill, Mikhail Gorbachev, Henry Kissinger and Gordon Brown, have used the term 'new world order' to refer to a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power.
When President Bush 41 used the term, his phrasing sent shock waves through the Christian and secular hard-right world, since for decades the phrase has been used to represent a collectivist One World Government ...
Recently, these fears have been supported by many of the actions and policies implemented under President George W. Bush (Bush 43) and his administration. Actions such as the illegal invasion of Iraq, the increase of private military contractors, warrantless wiretapping, extraordinary renditions, secret prisons, torture and the suspension of habeas corpus in Guantanamo are seen as evidence supporting the NWO conspiracy in the new globalized economy...
Against the backdrop of this recent historical context and in the wake of the dreaded foreign policy blunders of President Bush 43, President Barack Obama appeared on the world stage at the G-20 Summit and held subsequent meetings with European leaders. At the Summit and in these meetings, Obama set a new tone for dialogue and diplomacy. He listened, engaged in constructive dialogue, demonstrated an appreciation for and understanding of cultural difference and nuance, and apologized for American arrogance, thereby laying the groundwork for a new diplomatic approach to a new world order. A "world order" in which "the principles of justice and fair play protect the weak against the strong. A world where the UN is poised to fulfill the historic vision of its founders. A world in which freedom and respect for human rights find a home among all nations. A world order based on a truer sense of diplomacy, not Bush 43's unilateral and destructive sense of "American Internationalism."
Brave, and needed words, indeed ~ but eloquent words are no longer enough ~ what is needed now is decisive action.
President Obama must clearly redefine 'The New World Order' to the American people and back it up with action ~ such as implementing much needed structural change to our unregulated financial system and punishing the perpetrators of our past abuses of power, such as torture, rendition and illegal wiretapping, and guaranteeing that they will never happen again.
As Progressive columnist Glenn Greenwald recently wrote in Salon ~ " Whatever else one might say, the rule of law, the Constitution, and core civil liberties are the centerpiece of a healthy and well-functioning government, and nothing justifies an assault on those safeguards. That was the argument most progressives made throughout the Bush presidency, and the more Obama continues on the Bush/Cheney path in this area, the more solid the progressive consensus against his actions will become." http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2009/04/13/obama/index.html
Only under those conditions will myself and millions of Americans accept the possibility of A New World Order .
