PURTON, NON-SEPARABILITY AND THE UNIFIED FIELD
Mike Purton's theory of non-separability whereas he establishes that all matter is permanently interrelated is, in reality, a Unified field of love and soul consciousness, which exists beyond time and space, and whose principle property is the universal urge to unite: Allen L Roland
Mike Purton wrote in 2004 ( Face To Faith / Physics and Metaphysics ) in the Guardian of a series of scientific experiments in the early 1980s that would change forever our understanding of the nature of matter ~ " Physicists call it entanglement, and it describes the state of two or more particles once they have interacted with one another. From then on, irrespective of time and space, a correlation will always exist between them. What happens to one will affect the other - even if they are now at opposite ends of the universe... The word entanglement is really a misnomer. Some scientists use "non-separability" to describe the same condition. And the difference is significant. For if matter emerged from energy in the singularity of the big bang, it would seem to follow that all the particles of which it consists are in that state of correlation. They have not become entangled, but at the fundamental level they have never been ~ and can never be ~ separated.... Although it is now more than 20 years since non-separability was proved experimentally, its significance has yet to enter the public psyche. Purton goes on to rightfully conclude that ~ " We are then reminded that it is this same matter which is both the physical manifestation of spirit and the means to redemptive action. This being so, then the correlation of all matter must also apply to all spirit. Our separateness is an illusion; the reality is an indivisible unity."
Purton also uses Teilhard De Chardin, as I most certainly do, to prove his point ~ " The scientist/theologian Teilhard de Chardin was in advance of the evidence for nonseparablity both physical and spiritual. In The Future Of Man (1959), he quoted a little-known version of Christ's central message to mankind: "Love one another, recognizing in the heart of each of you the same God who is being born." He went on to observe: "Those words, first spoken two thousand years ago, now begin to reveal themselves as the essential structural law of what we call progress and evolution."
Teilhard De Chardin was writing about an evolution of love and actually described love as an evolutionary process with which we all participate as co-creators. Thus, Jesus becomes an evolutionary forerunner for a love that is deepest within each one of us ~ and God becomes a loving plan in action wherein each of us has a part to play in it.
It was Teilhard who wrote " Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them ~ for it alone takes them and joins them to what is deepest within himself " ( Phenomenon Of Man )
And that axiom ( or self-evident truth ) is the foundation of my Unified Field ~ The basic underlying and uniting force of the universe is a psychic energy field of love and soul consciousness ( the Unified Field ) which lies not only beyond time and space but ALSO beneath our deepest fears ~ and whose principle property is the universal urge to unite.
Not only have I personally proven this in my life but also with my clients who use this innate knowledge to heal themselves ~ by moving through their fears and self doubt to a place of inner joy, delight and love.
Teilhard's, Purton's and Roland's internalized God Of Love was an alien concept to the externalized God of Wrath and Judgment in Christ's own time ~ as Purton explains; " In Christ's own time, a God of love - even using the word in the simple sense of affection - was a quite alien concept. The people he was addressing were used to a very different deity: a wrathful Jehovah. Believing judgment day to be imminent, they worshipped him on pain of being cast into hell and in the hope of everlasting life... So it was inevitable that the injunction to "love one another" should have been understood, not as recognition of a commonality, but as a means of gaining personal merit. Only now, when quantum mechanics has shown us that all matter is one, that there is no separation between me and my neighbor, do we have the physical proof of what he really meant."
Thus, relationship must be seen in the same light as Teilhard saw it ~ " The only right love is that between couples whose passion leads them both, one through the other, to a higher possession of their being ... Union, the true upwards union in the spirit , ends by establishing the elements it dominates in their own perfection." ( Human Energy )
In other words, relationship must be seen as a means to an end versus an end in itself ~ the true intent of relationship is the full flowering of each partner in their own perfection.
For example, I can clearly see that every major love relationship I have experienced has indeed been a gift, regardless of the pain associated with that relationship, in my quest to find and be the authentic and deeply feeling person I am today.
When we see through the eyes of love and gratitude we can begin to understand that we are each part of something far greater than ourselves but, at the same time, an integral part of a Unified Field of love and soul consciousness.
Purton summed it up brilliantly ~ " With new insights through a religion no longer dependent on blind trust, but grounded instead in knowledge, we are offered a higher purpose. Rather than seeing ourselves as separate individuals, we realize that we are aspects of a beautiful and indivisible whole.
